Dr. Joshua Hawkins, MD

Very friendly ,well informed, explains to patient to satisfaction and removes fear and doubt on surgery, patient is first priority not money, he never rushes his patients, he shows a lot of confidence in what he says and this gives me courage to face the surgery. Good doctor in general.

I had surgery with Dr. Hawkins twice for breast cancer and I'm so glad he was my surgeon. He was my first point of contact after being diagnosed with cancer and answered all my questions about the diagnosis and prognosis. He also performed my lumpectomy and later did "balancing" surgery to make both sides match. He always listened carefully to my concerns and answered my questions thoughtfully and completely. I never felt rushed, and I always felt like I was always treated with the utmost respect and kindness. I am extremely impressed with Dr. Hawkins and wish him the very best in life.

I find Dr. Hawkins very competent and personable. My whole experience with the pre-op meeting , the surgery , and post-op discussions has been excellent. Extremely pleased with the outcome. Highly recommended!

He did a good job explaining what was going to happen during the procedure and he always kept us informed on how things were going.

Dr. Hawkins provided me with the information I needed to decide a course of treatment. It was refreshing to work with a surgeon whose first option wasn't surgery.

Dr Hawkins is very knowledgeable about Mastectomy and Breast Conserving Surgery options and the pros and cons of each. He put my mind at ease with his confidence and compassion during our discussion regarding my surgery. I would recommend him highly.

Dr Hawkins is amazing! He is very caring, kind and honest. He explains in detail and you don't feel like he is leaving any info out. He is supportive and open to your thought and feelings. He doesn't make you feel rushed. You get the feeling you can ask him any questions, no matter how silly it might feel or if you already asked him last time but forgot, lol! I have not had surgery with him yet, but if I need any kind of surgery, it will be with him! I feel very fortunate to have found such a great person as my doctor and I highly recommend him! Also, Katie, the patient navigator is very helpful, caring and a great listener!

Dr Hawkins, is wonderful, very pleasant and through, I would highly recommend him to anyone, wish he could be my premariy doctor.

I had no fear regarding my surgery. I'm a Mormon and Dr. Hawkins allowed me to go to surgery with my garments on. I was in for a thyroidectomy. I told the Dr. we were all praying for him as we went to surgery and he told us that he prays every day that he does surgery. What a blessing this Dr. is. I have had absolutely no pain at all. I give God the glory for that though. Amen!

I arrived just a little skeptical about a procedure that I had only read about, however I left confident not only in the outcome but also confident in Dr. Hawkins' abilities. That sums it all up as far as I am concerned.
