Biography: Jonathan J. Rasouli, MD is originally from Alpine, New Jersey. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with University Honors from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering and minors in Mathematics and Chemistry. Thereafter, he attended the Albert Einstein College of Medicine and was inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society. In 2012, he joined the Department of Neurosurgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital for his neurosurgical residency and completed an enfolded fellowship in Stereotactic and Functional Neurosurgery under Dr. Brian Kopell. During his residency, he focused his research efforts on deep brain stimulation, macro-economic healthcare outcomes, and the surgical treatment of adult spinal deformity. He published numerous peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters and has presented his work at national and international neurosurgical meetings. He has also provided interviews for CNN, Washington Post, Doximity, Becker's Spine, and Spinal News International. He is currently completing the combined Neurosurgery and Orthopedic Spine Surgery Fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling, exercise, writing, and spending time with friends and family.

Biography: Dr. Miran Salgado is a movement disorder specialist, the Chief of NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital, and the Medical Director of the American Parkinson Disease Association (APDA) Information and Referral Center. He graduated from the Medical College of the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and completed residency training in internal medicine. In the U.S., he completed his neurology residency training at the SUNY Downstate Medical Center where he was Chief Resident.
