No Evident Interest in Patients Well Being or Care
Very disorganized office. Failed to advise me until 5pm night before surgery, after I had called all day, that I needed a covid test. Then told me they had spoken to me and had told me when they talked to me. Not true. I had been home all week. They never called or left a message on machine. Surgery was canceled for one month. Doctor had no evident interest in case. Spent one minute in room with me after surgery. Made a terrible impression. I would not recommend at all. Is the only doctor I have ever rated this poorly.

Dr. Motivala was the attending neurosurgeon at Mount Sinai/Beth Israel hospital in NYC who treated my mom for acute-onset hydrocephalus in November, 2016. As one of my mom's primary caregivers, I was so impressed by Dr. Motivala's management of her case. Over the course of several months, Dr. Motivala and her team provided us with excellent advice, timely answers to any of our questions, and the explanations/support necessary to put our family at ease during a very stressful time.
