Dr. Marco is the vice chairman of the Department of Orthopedics and chief of reconstructive spine and orthopedic oncology at Houston Methodist Hospital. He is one of the only surgeons in the world with training and expertise in the treatment of patients with complex spinal disorders and musculoskeletal tumors. Additionally, he is credited with more than 130 presentations, and medical journal and textbook publications.

Biography: Dr. Loyola V. Gressot is a board-certified neurosurgeon licensed in the state of Texas. She was born in Geneva, Switzerland, and raised in Houston, Texas. She is bilingual in English and French.She attended Rice University in Houston where she studied biochemistry and molecular biology, graduated Summa Cum Laude, and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa honor society. During this time, she became a licensed paramedic in the state of Texas and worked part-time on an ambulance providing emergency medical services for 5 years.Dr. Gressot then attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine where she was a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society, was inducted into the Gold Humanism honor society, and graduated with the highest honors as the valedictorian.Dr. Gressot completed her neurosurgery residency at Baylor College of Medicine. She conducted brain tumor lab research and was granted the prestigious Preuss Award from the American Association of Neurological Surgeons.
