Awesome surgeon
Dr. Quinn explained to me at my very first visit my issue and options. I had herniated discs at C4-C6. My discs were pressing on my spinal cord and causing weakness and numbness in my extremities and tingling sensations. I was also in pain (although I attributed that to my training as a triathlete). After a steroid injection and PT not improving the situation, I underwent ACDF surgery on May 28, 2024. I was extremely nervous going into surgery, but he did amazing. By day 5, I was off the prescription pain meds. By the end of week 2, I wasn't even taking acetamin As I go into week 7 post-op, all my back and neck pain, even my lower and mid-back pain, is GONE. My incision looks great and I don't think it's even going to be noticeable once it turns into a scar. His nurse, Rosaline Buys, in fabulous as well. She always answers my questions in a timely fashion on patient portal (and I have a LOT). I will definitely go back if I need more surgery in the future.

Did a major spinal reconstruction surgery on me for my scoliosis. Performed multiple discectomies/cage disk replacements. Revised my fusion (16 vertebra) with full reconstructive hardware. Fixed my Spondylolisthesis and fractured vertebra/lamina. It was a huge surgery and I was walking by day 4 in the hospital after being in a wheelchair for over a year. I had minimal pain by week 3. By week 6 I was up to 3k steps a day and starting PT. Can’t say enough good things about his talents.

Not worth the hype
He definitely doesn’t take the time to listen to you or see you mostly sends the students. He dismisses your concerns and lots of notes in the after visit summary are not true and made to seem as if everything is ok. Despite the background they claim he has he is not a great doctor at all. He definitely doe not make you feel as if you matter or that he’s even paying attention to you during your appointments.

Dr. Quinn Changed my Grandma's life
My Grandmother broke her spine many years ago and has had multiple surgeries prior to Dr. Quinn that ended up harming her to the point that she was in such extreme pain that she could not function in her day-to-day life. She is a very active and social person, so this was detrimental to her. She went to see multiple other doctors that dismissed her due to her age. Then we found Dr. Quinn, and he was optimistic about operating on her. She underwent extreme spinal surgery, and her life has been completely changed. She is social, she drives, and we just went to her favorite place (New York City), and she was able to climb stairs and walk around the city which would have been impossible if she hadn't had this surgery. Thank you so much Dr. Quinn for making my grandma enjoy life again.

I saw Dr. Quinn in December 2022 from a referral of another doctor. However, the appointment was confusing and he talked down to me. He dismissed me when I asked questions and I feeling he have issues with my ethnicity. Although Dr.Quinn have impressive background, the day of surgery I started second guessing my decision whether he do his best on me vs a white patient. I rarely saw him because the students saw me. Then he have a set 8 weeks recovery although I had several issues. I called the office even though he would dismiss my issues. He would see me post op appointment told me everything else he saw on the X-ray but no guidance. Then a televisit appointment call when I need to come in. Notes were added to my patient portal stating everything was great that was so far from truth. I work to supplement my income so forms are needed. Dr. Quinn instructed PA to enter information that affecting my job. Follow up, I will need to find another Neurosurgeon. Starting over.
