Biography: A native Texan, Dr. Russell Edwards earned his undergraduate degree from Texas A&M University. He then continued his training at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, where he received his degree in osteopathic medicine. Edwards completed his residency at John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in July 2010.Following the completion of his residency, Edwards began practicing in Decatur and Bridgeport. Since establishing his practice he has developed a reputation as a caring and trustworthy physician.Dr. Edwards is married and enjoys the outdoors, especially spending time at the lake and water skiing.

Biography: Dr. Alyssa Kirsch grew up in Grapevine where she played softball at Grapevine High School. She was recruited to play collegiate softball at West Texas A&M University and was named an NCAA Athletic and Academic All-American and was a part of winning the NCAA Division II National Softball Championship. During her time at West Texas A&M University she completed her pre-medicine prerequisites while graduating with a dual degree in Biology and Biochemistry with summa cum lade honors. Dr. Kirsch then attended Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center where she completed medical school and OBGYN residency while obtaining AOA honors.Her other interests include spending time with family, walking her dogs and watching baseball.
