During his residency, Dr. Gaukhman was nominated into the American Orthopedic Association, an honor bestowed on the top one or two residents within each program in the United States. Following training in Boston, Dr. Gaukhman was accepted to the prestigious adult reconstructive surgery fellowship at the Insall Scott Kelly (ISK) & NYU Langone Medical Center/Hospital for Joint Disease, one of the only two orthopedic surgery specialty hospitals in the country. There, he had the opportunity to further refine his skills under some of the first pioneers in joint replacement surgery and adopt skills in robotic and computer-navigated surgery.
