She received her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in Indianapolis and completed residency training at Indiana University Medical Center in Indianapolis.

Biography: Dr. Schmid is board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She received her medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin and completed residency training at the Indiana University Medical Center.

Care Philosophy: "My philosophy of care is an approach of partnership. When I come into a room I typically do not bring my computer. I first like to sit eye-level with patients and listen. I then give them options regarding their treatment as I believe the patient should have some choice in the type of care they receive."
