The staff was very friendly and helped me feel comfortable. I have really bad social anxiety. When I saw the Dr he actually made me feel valued. I was extremely scared.

Most thorough doctor
Dr Mc Hugh gives patients his undivided attention during appointments. He reviews all other labs, tests & doctors notes. He works very well with other doctors such as cardiologists & endocrinologists. I highly recommend Dr. McHugh.

Dr, McHugh always listens to me and provides helpful information and direction pertaining to my kidney health. He has provided guidance that has helped me stabilize my CKD without additional meds. He has been just what I needed.

Dr. McHugh takes time listening and also ask questions. I have low sodium; we are not sure what is causing it, yet. He's trying different things to find out. He's very polite, understanding he doesn't rush thru your visits. I would recommend him highly to others.

As a new patient, Dr. McHugh was very thorough in reviewing all my past history and asking questions about my current condition. He was very personable and easy to talk with. He was not in a rush and spent over 40 minutes discussing my condition and a treatment plan.

Regretfully I must amend my previous rating of Dr. McHugh. He did spend a great deal of time with me during my consult and ordered bloodwork and kidney US expecting an improvement. 2 of 3 blood tests showed a worsening. After 7-10 days I cld his nurse who said he signed off on US w/no remarks but hadn't looked at bloodwork yet. 3 weeks now and no response. (I saw results on MyChart). Am now pursuing care with my MD & NP.
