His special interests in spine surgery include the use of minimally invasive surgery for degenerative conditions, adult deformity, trauma and complex reconstruction.He completed his medical degree from George Washington University in Washington, DC and orthopedic surgery residency at Drexel University in Philadelphia, PA. Biography: Kelly Hendricks, MD, is a board-certified, fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon with Kansas City Joint Replacement and Sports Medicine in Overland Park, KS. He is affiliated with Menorah Medical Center and HCA Midwest Health. Dr. Hendricks has been recognized annually as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor since 2014, and is considered to be one of the area's preeminent experts in adult orthopedic reconstruction, specifically in knee and hip replacements. He is a leader in adopting the latest total knee replacement technology a smart knee implant for patients who qualify, as he seeks to improve patient outcomes through enhanced precision and accuracy.
