Biography: Dr. Blom is a board Certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction. Although Dr. Blom practices General Orthopaedics as well as Ortho Trauma, his particular interest is in Joint Replacement. Specifically the management of arthritic diseases of the hip and knee. Dr. Blom received his medical degree from Boston University School of Medicine in 1991. In addition to serving on the board of the hospital since 2016, he is also an expert consultant and educator for several medical device companies specializing in the advancement of minimally invasive surgical techniques for hand and upper extremity conditions.
