Biography: Dr. David Lee specializes in hand and upper extremity surgery. He chose orthopedic surgery because, by studying and mastering the incredible complex anatomy of the musculoskeletal system, he could help people return to their normal form and function. His goal as an orthopedist is to get patients back to doing the activities they love and to help them live pain-free. Biography: Originally from Rochester, New York, Dr. Alexander earned a BA cum laude in Psychology from Harvard University before studying medicine at the University of Virginia School of Medicine. There, he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. Dr. Croog completed his residency in orthopedic surgery at New York University/Hospital for Joint Diseases in New York City under the leadership of Dr. Joseph Zuckerman. He then served as a Mary S. Biography: A native Virginian, Dr. Amanda Trucksess attended The College of William and Mary where she was a member of their Division I swim team. With a strong interest in athletics as well as human biomechanics and physiology, Dr. Trucksess graduated cum laude with a major in kinesiology. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond where she was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Following medical school, she completed a four year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Biography: Finding great satisfaction in watching someone recover from an injury and return to living, Dr. David Novak chose the field of orthopaedic surgery because he wanted to have a direct impact on the quality of life of his patients. After earning a BA in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Novak received his medical degree from Georgetown University where he was named a member of Alpha Omega Alpha, the National Medical Honor Society. He remained in Washington, DC, at Georgetown University Medical Center to complete a residency in orthopaedic surgery. He then completed advanced fellowship training in sports medicine and arthroscopy at the Southern California Orthopedic Institute in Van Nuys, California. Dr. Novak worked intensively with some of the best sports and arthroscopic surgeons in the country during his fellowship training and today is able to perform advanced arthroscopic techniques for a number of orthopaedic problems. His special interests include sports medicine and sports injuries, complex problems of the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle, arthroscopic rotator cuff repair, arthroscopic shoulder stabilization for loose or dislocating shoulder, ACL and ligament reconstruction, meniscus repair, and cartilage restoration of the knee, and adult joint reconstruction.

Biography: Dr. Kim graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with bachelor's and master's degrees in electrical engineering and computer science. He obtained his MD degree at Temple University School of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed residency training at Temple University Hospital and a Sports Medicine Fellowship at Georgetown University. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and is a Fellow in American Orthopaedic Surgeons Society. Dr. Kim treats patients with all types of orthopedic conditions but specializes in sports medicine and osteoarthritis problems. Most of his elective cases are performed via minimally invasive arthroscopic approach. He also performs total knee replacements utilizing robotic surgery. Dr. Kim provides skilled surgical care based on years of experience and thousands of surgical cases. Dr. Kim volunteers his time at local high schools taking care of athletes. He currently serves as the team physician to Battlefield High School and US Speedskating. He regularly provides lectures for certified athletic trainers of Prince William County Schools and works closely with athletic training department of George Mason University. He is actively involved in researches in sports medicine in conjunction with the George Mason University Athletic Training Department. Dr. Kim has numerous honors. Biography: Dr. Hosick specializes in robotically-assisted knee and hip replacement surgery. He originally chose orthopedics in medical school because he found the orthopedic staff and residents to be the most personable and welcoming of all surgical specialties. He grew to love the challenge of treating the complexities of the musculoskeletal system and the ever-evolving nature of orthopedic surgery. He says that the ability to cure a person's pain and suffering using his skills and knowledge creates a personal satisfaction that is hard for him to descrbe. Dr. Hosick is also the team physician for Osbourn High School, his Alma Mater.Dr. Hosick's greatest joy is his grandson in Richmond, who he sees whenever possible. He is proud to serve his country and it's fighting men and women as a Naval Reserve Medical Corps officer. In his free time he travels the world, and enjoys the food scene in the DC metro area.
