Biography: J. Alan Przybyla, M.D., is a board certified general surgeon with North Pines General Surgery in Conroe, Texas. Dr. Przybyla received his bachelor degree from the University of Texas, and received his Doctorate of Medicine from the University of Texas Health Science Center, Houston. He completed his surgical residency at the Baptist Health System in Birmingham, Alabama. Dr. Przybyla is board certified in surgery and is a member of both the American Medical Association and the Texas Medical Association. Dendy, DO, FACOS, received his Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University and attended medical school at the University of North Texas Health Sciences Center's Texas College of Osteopathic Medicine in Fort Worth. He completed his general surgery internship at Osteopathic Medical Center of Texas and general surgery residency at Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Michigan.Dr. Dendy is board certified in surgery and is a member of the American College of Osteopathic Surgeons, the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, The American Osteopathic Association and The American Medical Association.Charlie F. Dendy, DO, has special interest in minimally invasive surgery. Minimally invasive surgery, sometimes called laparoscopic surgery, is done through small incisions. Using specialized techniques, miniature cameras with microscopes, tiny fiber-optic flashlights and special instruments, Dr. Dendy can perform surgery through incisions that require only a stitch or two to close.Minimally invasive surgery means less trauma to the body, less blood loss, smaller surgical scars and less need for pain medication.
