Dr Leiva is wonderful. He's very personable and knew my case by discussing it with my other doctor who will take part in my care before I ever arrived. He is compassionate, caring and takes his time with you. Being my fist visit with him, I am very impressed and I like him a lot. I felt I am in good hands.

I had surgery in July. I have needed support with a nutritionist. It takes months to get an appointment with them and you can't even get someone to answer your question. They suggested I go to an outside nutritionist but that is not covered by my insurance. I finally had an appt Dec 2 and they just called and cancelled it with no other options. You will not get the support you need from this office and getting support and guidance through this is critical. Find another physician!!

The Doctor is a nice person but I only disagree in the way they manage my follow up visit, I never saw the Dr again after the surgery with questions about my recovery. I spoke to the nurse or assistant over the phone and then she never return my calls and messages and I had to go to the clinic to speak to someone.

Yes, i would recommend Dr. Leiva to anyone looking for a surgeon they can trust. He is a fantastic surgeon! Our family has had the opportunity to work with him 2 times under completely unrelated circumstances and both times the surgeries were successful, despite the complications that arose at the last minute. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and experienced surgeon.

Dr Jorge Leiva, is the best Doctor I have seen in 33 years also he is understanding and very quick to help and he answers all your questions.. He very knowledgeable and know what your thinking before you say anything..

My son and my husband have seen Dr Leiva for surgery. We just love Dr. Leiva, he is very thorough and has excellent bedside manner and follow up. We highly recommend Dr. Leiva - he is one of the best in Houston!
