Biography: Dr. Lutta is a board certified orthopaedic surgeon with a special interest in treatment of problems involving the foot and ankle. He graduated cum laude with a degree in Biology from Clark University in Worcester, MA. He earned his medical degree from Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, DC, where he was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at Howard University Hospital and went on to a fellowship in foot and ankle reconstruction at the University of Pennsylvania.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Hafner completed residency training in reconstructive foot & ankle surgery at the Yale - New Haven Medical Center. Dr. Hafner has been published for his original research. Dr. Hafner has recieved multiple distinctions of being named one of Northern Virginia Magazine's Top Doctors. His most recent recognitions include 2022, 2023 & 2024. Dr Hafner's approach to treating patients is through use of compassion and respect. Dr Hafner carefully listens to the patient's specific concerns and offers them the appropriate treatment options for their condition.

Biography: A native Virginian, Dr. Amanda Trucksess attended The College of William and Mary where she was a member of their Division I swim team. With a strong interest in athletics as well as human biomechanics and physiology, Dr. Trucksess graduated cum laude with a major in kinesiology. She went on to earn her medical degree from the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond where she was named to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Following medical school, she completed a four year residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (known as physiatry) is a sub-specialty of medicine that focuses on the restoration of function and the non-operative treatment of nerve, muscle, and bone disorders. Dr. Trucksess chose this specialty because it allowed her to integrate her interest in human physiology with her passion for patient care.

Biography: Dr. Michael L. Petranek is a native of the Washington, D.C. area. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Biology at Brigham Young University and continued his education at the California College of Podiatric Medicine where he earned a Doctorate in Podiatric medicine graduating as the Salutatorian. He completed a three-year surgical residency program at INOVA Fairfax and Georgetown University Hospitals.
