Biography: Telehealth visits are available.Dr. Espinosa received his medical education at Universidad Central del Este in Dominican Republic, and completed his residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine affiliated Bronx Lebanon Hospital Center in Bronx, New York were he was OB/GYN Administrator Chief Resident and awarded Resident of the Year in 1998. Prior to joining Dominion Women’s Health, Dr. Espinosa served as an attending physician at Bronx Lebanon Hospital and as private practitioner in New York City. Dr. Espinosa is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology, also been named a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologist. He is a member of the Richmond Medical Society, Dominican Medical Society, American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopist, and Richmond Obstetrical & Gynecological Society. Dr. Espinosa is fluent in Spanish and English.

I truly enjoy continuing with them through pregnancy and all walks of womanhood. Education regarding personal care is just as important and I provide information needed to lead a healthy life.

Biography: Michelle Wood, MD, is a board-certified obstetrician and gynecologist (OBGYN) with Virginia Complete Care for Women. Originally from Detroit, Michigan, Dr. Wood earned her undergraduate degrees in chemistry and cellular molecular biology from University of Michigan. She earned her medical degree at Wayne State University School of Medicine and completed her residency at Oakwood Hospital and Medical Center.Dr. Wood is board certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She is an active member of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the South Atlantic Association of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Wood enjoys practicing obstetrics and gynecology which provides an opportunity to care for women at all stages of their lives. She is honored to be part of the pregnancy journey and birth experience of so many mothers and families. She is also committed to educating her patients about preventative care and healthy lifestyles and believes in shared medical decision making.In her free time, Dr. Wood loves spending time with family and friends.
