I had both the sling and the rectal repair , everything he told me was correct about how I would feel , he responded quickly to any message I left . I’m going to switch to him for my gynecologist ! Very easy to talk to !

I had prolapse surgery with Dr. Clary. I went to him because he's well known for meshless repairs. During my consult he examed me internally to confirm the rectocele as well as bladder and uterine prolapses. When he was done, while I was still in the stirrups, he offered to 'take your opening from 3 fingers to 2'. I was not there for vaginal rejuvenation but to address incontinence related to the prolapses. I brushed it off and told him if I changed my mind I'd let him know. After surgery I stayed one night in the hospital where my pain was out of control. I had to request for him to round on me as that was not his plan. As he was walking out of my room he said 'you did great. You'll feel like you're 16 down there again.' That was not the purpose of this surgery and is an inappropriate comment especially with the age he chose to compare. He said this same statement again at my post op appointment. The surgery went well and my repairs are excellent but I will not return to him.

Dr. Clary is great! I have gone to him for the last 13 years. He is caring, respectful, kind, and very smart! Dr. Clary takes the time to sit with his patient he explains what he is doing and makes you feel comfortable with dignity. Dr. Clary's nurse is helpful and kind she talks to you and makes you feel comfortable. Thank you, Latoya, for all your hard work. This year, I moved out of State and will still travel to see Dr. Clary.

Dr. Clary is the only doctor, (gyn or Urologist) who has had an in depth understanding of interstitial cystitis and has actually helped me. I can't even describe how much my quality of life has improved since I started seeing him. Highly, highly recommend. He kept me from giving up.

Each and every visit at St. Mary’s & Henrico Dr.s - Dr. Clary and all his staff is truly wonderful. Dr. Clary is truly an amazing Doctor who cares about the many medical issues in women’s lives. From surgeries to medicine after menopause Dr. Clary is #1 in his field. I have experienced 11 years of being his patient - truly has make my life great knowing when your aging that you have a doctor who cares. His staff: Latoya, Sierra, Michael,Heather & Nevin. Make visits to the office enjoyable & easy. Dr. Clary & Staff is always welcoming, professional & kind.

Unfortunately I didn’t get to see Dr Clary. I called to make my fist appointment as a new patient. I indicated that I was having a gym problem and would like to make an appointment. The front desk staff told me that the soonest he could see me was more than 30 days later. My problem should not be left untreated for 30 days. I understand if I was calling for an annual checkup but not when having an issue. I accepted an appt with a different doctor in 4 days at the office but am not feeling very good about the situation. This may be unfair to attribute to the doctor but his front office staff are a reflection of him. So disappointed.

Amazing doctor! Nice, professional and so helpful!

This man is so genuine that anyone could fall in love with his professional care for woman; from an 89 year old amputee who gets around find to a young teenager facing pregnancy. He helps woman get better by professional guided skilled care. He has helped me to no end and I’m a better person and my outcome was so remarkable that I can enjoy my aging life.

My mother recently went to Dr. Clary for the first time for a procedure. Despite being highly recommended to her, she left distraught, dissatisfied and disappointed, as well as in physical discomfort and pain, from both his abrasiveness of hand and callous demeanor. This was the first and last time my mother will be seeing Dr. Clary.

Dr Clary is an AMAZING doctor. Good listener, patient, honest, focused, and respectful. I have had a few friends that went to him because I told them he is the BEST obgyn out there.

I'm definitely one of those "stick to one doctor" type of people & expect loyalty & great care in return. Dr. Clary has exceeded all of my expectations, he just has a great personality & never has left me hanging! He is great man & I'm very happy to have found him to be my doctor, no questions asked.

I have been a patient of Dr. Clary for 4 years, due to retirement of my previous GYN. The quality of care and professionalism I received on my first and subsequent visits has been what I've come to expect.
