Biography: Dr. Alexander A. Collazo, a board-certified family medicine specialist, completed his residency at Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville, FL, in 2023. Dr. Collazo earned his medical degree from the Dr. Kiran C. Patel College of Osteopathic Medicine at Nova Southeastern University following a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences from Barry University and a B.S. in Microbiology and Cell Science, with a minor in Geographical Sciences, from the University of Florida. He has co-authored research presented at conferences, such as the Florida Academy of Family Physicians and CEME, and delivered clinical lectures on blood transfusions, retroperitoneal fibrosis and piriformis syndrome. Before joining us in 2024, Dr. Collazo practiced at OneHealth Primary Care, where he provided comprehensive care and helped reduce ER visits and hospitalizations. Passionate about diabetes, heart health, obesity management, and supporting seniors in the community, he believes that taking the time to listen is essential to improving his patients' well-being. Outside of work, he enjoys cooking, the outdoors, and cherishing moments with family.
