He's on time, prepared, listens. He is extremely knowledgeable. I have been to specialist who have been no help, then consulted with Dr. Santoscoy. Dr. Santoscoy had the answer. Amazing!!

My husband Charles & I have been patients of Dr Santoscoy for 14 years now ..we found him at St Joe north hospital about 5 minutes from our home ..when he moved to Wesley Chapel we followed him even though our drive was 25 minutes he’s worth the drive ..Dr Santoscoy is professional ,patient kind and very knowledgeable..Dr has taken great care of us all these years..We have never felt rushed and he’s on time for appointments…Thank you so much Dr Santoscoy

After bouncing around between doctors to find a fit, I am very pleased with Dr. Santoscoy! Thorough and direct, he will also take time to explain or discuss any issue. Strong, friendly staff help make him an easy recommendation!

Unprofessional, unethical, bordering on possible malpractice: office prescribed a 3 week trial medication, prior to the end of the trial requested to make contact with office if positive response from medication per ARNP under Santoscoy. Per office staff Santoscoy intercepted message to ARNP and refused to send in refills. This medication is supposed to be tapered off or will cause numerous experienced side effects. Was advised by office staff he is the doctor. Requested a call back from doctor and or clinical Manager. After no return call, attempted to call office again to be placed on hold numerous times, unable to speak to anyone. In the meantime I was forced stop said medication cold turkey negatively impacting my overall health due to a doctors decision to assert his MD status over the compassionate and professional care of the ARNP.

Dr. Santoscoy was my wife & my PCP when he was at BayCare North as a very young physician. He was fantastic then; and he relocated to Wesley Chapel and Florida Medical Clinic. When we relocated to East Pasco we reconnected with him. He is still that fantastic physician-just not so young!! Excellent support staff and Dr. Santoscoy is still that caring, honest person who LISTENS!! Difficult to get an appointment because he is so good. Plan ahead!!

Being a family medicine doctor comes with big responsibilities, taking care of all of us! Dr. Renee Santoscoy MD does an extremely respectable job because he treats each and all his patients as individuals and takes the time to address all their health needs. Dr. Santoscoy, a family medicine doctor that does an amazing job at Florida Medical Clinic, Deserves feedback from his patients. Dr. Santoscoy, does not just practice family medicine, at Florida Medical Clinic he takes it as far as the needs of every one of his patients, with his medical experience it allows him to ensure that the patients receive the best Individual Health Plan, and takes the time needed to ensure that each and every one of his patients will receive the most positive outcome, of their Individual Health Plan, so the patient can be successful with their personalized health plan that helps his patients to meet their health needs. Yes, Dr. Renee Santoscoy MD does raise the bar to excellent service for FMC.

Dr. Rene Santoscoy, is an outstanding doctor and human being. Unfortunately, he is surrounded by staff that is NOT professional at all. I received a phone call asking me to reschedule an appointment I had never canceled. Still, instead of believing me, the office staff and team lead refused to see me today and asked me to go to emergency care or reschedule my appointment. With sadness and after many years of seeing this doctor, I am saying goodbye to one of the best doctors in town because I don’t want to be treated anymore the way I was treated today by his staff. I wish you the best, Dr. Santoscoy!

Dr. Santoscoy is very good about taking time with his patients. He is organized, and his staff is well-trained. Dr. Santoscoy is a good listener.

Dr. Santoscoy is an extremely sensible doctor. He is very concerned about being proactive, not reactive to one’s health. He is an all around great MD, with a quick wit and a caring nature.

Dr. Santoscoy is wonderful to work with and thorough with his advice for my medical plan to stay on track.

This was a semi-annual visit to Dr. Santoscoy for my husband and I, Margaret and William Richardson. Dr. Santoscoy is thorough and organized; he listens (very important) and weighs the input of the patient which is extremely appreciated. We have been seeing Dr. Santoscoy for over six years and have been very happy with his treatment and advice.

It is very difficult to get an appointment once you are an established patient. Dr Santoscoy is a fine doctor but the staff at FMC are rude and sometimes prevent you from seeing the doctor. He says, "Call me anytime." But, when you do, the scheduler says, "You have to wait two weeks."

Dr santoscoy listens to what you are saying and takes everything serious. I feel I can call him anytime and will be there. He gives you options and guides you for you to make the right decision for you.

Recently relocated from New York as a retired Medical Attending at NYU and have since established with Dr. Santoscoy from a referral by my neighbor, I could not be happier or more impressed. He has a great bedside manner and his clinical skills and medical approach is top notch. He really listens and respects my input on my care. He has a great approach in managing a Patient and not treating a disease a skill which takes many physicians years to accomplish. Very complete physical exam.

Orders the wrong tests, tries to act like he knows what he is talking about even when you have proof on paper saying otherwise, only seems to know basic care. Anything complex forget it. Has an automated system call about labs even if you are out of range. Tries to contradict your research and knowledge. I don't see a reason to see him unless you need a referral.

When a Dr. says the words "I don't know" instead of continuing to dig and find out what your issue is even after specialists who do nothing pretty much giving up that's a sign it's time to move on. Dr. Santoscoy is nice, but I have no idea if FL Medical Clinic prevents him from doing a job or he just wants to take the easy routes and not deal with difficult things. One thing I'm learning with FL Medical Clinic doctors is they don't seem to like to treat people. Just pawn on on the next Dr..

Nice bed side manner however clueless to anything medical from my personal experience. Just refers out or tries to give you medication to mask your symptoms. When he doesn't know what your problem is he just makes up some excuse. Something I've been finding out about most doctors work fl medical clinic. Also as soon as your times up he rushes you out. I don't feel he is a good doctor at all.

I think Dr Santoscoy is a fine young physician. However, I believe he needs to remove himself from Florida Medical Clinic, move to another, and obtain his own staff. The people he is working with I believe are destroying his credibility. The man is a fine physician! Rene....get out of there. Do your own thing, you are one heck of a doctor. Stop associating yourself with BS. Please note...my recommendation level is low.....not because of him, but because of FMC.
