Care Philosophy: I am an endocrinologist with expertise in a wide spectrum of hormonal disorders. My special focus is the evaluation and treatment of patients with osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease and parathyroid, calcium and phosphate disorders. I also care for patients with thyroid, adrenal and pituitary diseases, complicated type 2 diabetes and endocrine disorders in pregnancy. I strongly believe in patient-centered medicine, aiming to achieve and maintain optimal health and well-being through the involvement of my patients in mutual decision-making and inclusive communication. Biography: Dr. Melissa Katz has been at NYPH Weill Medical College since 1992 when she began her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism in the joint program with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. Prior to that she completed an internal medicine residency at Yale New Haven Hospital. She graduated from SUNY Buffalo School of Medicine and obtained her bachelor's degree from Yale University. Upon completing her fellowship in 1995, Dr. Katz continued her research on male and female reproductive disorders which was published in the New England Journal of Medicine among other distinguished publications.

Biography: Dr. Baker is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Attending Endocrinologist at Cornell Medical College in New York. He is a graduate of Emory University College and Medical School. He completed an Internal Medicine residency at New York University and a fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology and Metabolism at Albert Einstein College of Medicine/Montefiore Medical Center. Dr. Baker, who himself has type 1 diabetes, has interests which include disease management through education and lifestyle interventions, prevention of type 1 diabetes, and the impact of diabetes on international health. Dr. Baker is involved in numerous global health diabetes projects, and has founded the non-profit organization "Marjorie's Fund" (www.marjoriesfund.org), a type 1 diabetes global initiative dedicated to education, care, and research of type 1 diabetes in the developing world. Dr. Baker also serves as a contributing author to The Medical Letter and contributing editor to dLife.com.

Biography: Dr. So-Young Kim currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine and Attending Endocrinologist at the Weill Cornell Medical College. She specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of various Endocrinology disorders, including thyroid (hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism/thyroid nodules), polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), metabolic bone (osteoporosis), parathyroid disease, type 2 diabetes mellitus.Dr. Kim completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Chicago and then continued on to receive her M.D. from New York Medical College. She completed her internal medicine residency training at Beth Israel Medical Center and completed her clinical fellowship in Diabetes, Endocrinology, and Metabolism at the Weill Cornell Medical College/New York Presbyterian Hospital, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the Hospital for Special Surgery.

Care Philosophy: Dr. Goykhman specializes in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Hormone imbalance and Weight loss. He is licensed in both New Jersey and New York; Dr. Goykhman completed Internal Medicine Residency at Easton Hospital. Fellowship was completed in NYU and Creighton University. Bilingual in both Russian and English. Dr Goykhman has received recognition for patient care and is a member of numerous professional and scientific societies. He performs Thyroid Ultrasound and thyroid Biopsy in the office.

Biography: Dr. Sinha specializes in metabolic bone diseases including osteoporosis and parathyroid disorders. She also specializes in obesity and the effects bariatric surgery on the endocrine system. She is a member of the islet transplantation team and is interested in the care of post-transplant diabetes.
