Biography: Dr Saldanha is a board-certified Orthopedic Surgeon with additional fellowship training in Adult Joint Reconstruction and Orthopedic Trauma. He specializes in Hip Replacement, Knee Replacement, Hip and Knee Revisions, Fracture Care and Trauma Injuries. Following completion of his orthopedics training, Dr Saldanha volunteered for deployment in Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. While serving he also founded the first orthopedic humanitarian clinic treating women and children displaced by the war. After returning to the United States Dr Saldanha served as an Orthopedic Traumatologist, training active Duty Airmen in war trauma techniques and assisted in the development of the Sustained Medical Airman Readiness Training program at the 99th Surgical Operations Squadron in Nellis Air Force Base, Nevada.From 2013-2016 Dr Saldanha was an Assistant Professor of Orthopedic Surgery with the University of Nevada School of Medicine and completed further education in complex Adult Reconstruction under world renowned surgeon Anthony Hedley.Dr Saldanha is actively involved in orthopedic research. He is an associate editor for the International Journal of Advanced Joint Reconstruction and has published numerous articles in peer reviewed journals. Dr Saldanha is expected to complete his master's in business administration in 2019. Dr Saldanha has received several awards including Meritorious Service Medal, Airforce Commendation Medal, induction into the American Orthopedic Association -Emerging Leader Program, and the Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society.

Biography: Joe K. Wells, III, M.D., F.A.C.S. is a native Texan originally from Austin. He earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas, where he also completed his residency in general surgery. He completed his fellowship in vascular surgery at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. He has practiced with Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeons since 2000.Dr. Wells is board-certified in vascular surgery by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. He currently serves as Surgery Department Chair at the Heart Hospital of Austin. Dr. Wells specializes in carotid and lower extremity revascularization as well as the minimally invasive treatment of thoracic and abdominal aortic aneurysms and dissections. He has previously served as a medical missionary to Guatemala.He is an active member of Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honor Society, the Society for Vascular Surgery, Parkland Surgical Society, Texas Medical Association and Travis County Medical Society. Dr. Wells has been listed multiple times as a Texas Monthly Super Doctor ®.

He offers an anterior muscle sparing approach to the hip, unicondylar knee replacements, as well as both computer navigation and robotic assisted hip and knee replacements.
