Biography: Dr. Mallick joined Heartland Cardiology in April 2008. He is Chief of Cardiology at the Robert J. Dole VA Medical Center, a position he has held since 2003, and he is a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Kansas School of Medicine. Dr. Mallick is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and in adult Transthoracic Echocardiography, stress echocardiography and Transesophageal Echocardiography. Additionally he is fully qualified to implant pacemakers and internal cardio-defibrillators, as well as provide follow-up care for these devices. Dr. Mallick is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases and residency in Internal Medicine from Brooklyn Jewish Hospital in Brooklyn, New York. He takes great pride in caring for the Veteran community in Wichita. He also has a passion for helping educate new medical students and residents to help them achieve their goal to become physicians. He is a certified Cardiac Device Specialist by Heart Rhythm Society. He is also a Heart Failure/Cardiac Transplant Specialist. He received his Internal Medicine residency training at St. Louis University and his Cardiology fellowship at the University of Nebraska in Omaha. Biography: Dr. Tabbal is an Electrophysiology Cardiologist who joined Heartland Cardiology in July 2010. He is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology. His training started at Mayo Clinic where he had general surgery training. His internal medicine training was at the University of Minnesota and his cardiology and electrophysiology training was at the University of Louisville. Dr. Tabbal serves as the medical Director of the Wesley Electrophysiology Laboratory. Dr. Tabbal has been a pioneer in advancing the electrophysiology field in the area and bringing the newest technology and cardiac devices to Wichita. Dr. Tabbal enjoys the outdoors, bicycling and swimming. His greatest love is spending time with his wife and playing with his three children.

Biography: Dr. Boppana, Subbu as he prefers to be called, is an interventional cardiologist and peripheral interventionalist who came to Heartland Cardiology in July 2017 from St. Louis, MO. He is Board-Certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Echocardiography, and Vascular Interpretation. He specializes in percutaneous coronary and peripheral vascular interventions.Dr. Boppana received his Medical Degree in 2007 from NTR University in Andhra Pradesh, India. He moved to the United States to pursue his passion for advanced training spending two years in cardiovascular research at University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. Dr. Boppana received his Internal Medicine training at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse, NY. He received Cardiology training at Rutgers, New Jersey Medical School further followed by Interventional Cardiology fellowship at Saint Louis University, Missouri.He is a valedictorian graduate from NTR University with numerous awards including the best outgoing student. He received a total of 13 gold medals in medical school and received the highest honors in the entire state. He continued his passion here as well and was awarded best teaching resident for two consecutive years in Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. He published several papers and presented multiple sessions in the national meetings.In his free time Subbu likes spending time with his wife and daughter. His wife Dr. Kolli is pursuing her radiology training at Wesley Medical center. Dr. Boppana enjoys hiking, long drives and working out when possible.
