Dr Farhoud is an amazing doctor. I have seen him for multiple years. He provides exceptional care to me and my little sister. I highly respect him and his team. They do take the time to listen to you and your concerns and answer them in a way you can understand unlike most doctors nowadays. He is extremely caring and compassionate. I'm blessed beyond measures to have such a one of a kind heart doctor.

One of the worst appointments ever!
First thing, asked how old I was and who was with me (my father). He hollered "oh good good, I'm glad to hear that. You to young to be married to old man." He ran up, hugged me, smothered my face and glasses into his abdomen! He WOULDN'T let go, I pushed back to get free, it was VERY unsettling! He said it's strange I have high plaque in coratid for my age. My BP was high, so he Rx metoprolol. I explain BP is anxiety elevated when I see Dr. I asked when taking med, if my BP or heart rate (norm 55-60) gets too low, what do I do? He repeated twice, take it in am wait 2 hrs 10 mins, take BP. Keep records for 4 weeks till next appt. I asked 2 more times, no answer from him. My paperwork says I have autoimmune disease & Raynaud's, I may not safely take this Rx. Told take aspirin, I have low platelets, blood Dr wants to wait till I'm to transfusion point. He insisted I see blood Dr. like Rx is his problem. My BP has been lower then normal, unsteady, palpitations and tension in neck/chest.

My dad is a patient and my husband used to be. He is a hand on the door knob type doctor. He may consider an event insignificant so he doesn’t tell the patient. Yet on the next visit he is concerned about said event and puts you through testing. Then the next visit that original event was insignificant, in his words. Another family member is also a patient and is unhappy with him. For their privacy I will not go into detail.

Dr. Farhoud was my mother's cardiologist. She hadn't seen him in 2 years when she started having issues again, and her pcp referred her to a different cardiologist. She is still having major blood pressure/heart problems close to 2 years later, so we see Dr Farhoud today. He tells my mother that he is not comfortable seeing her and is unwilling to look through the last 2 years of her medical issues, medicine and hospitalizations. He made it very clear that he was concerned about the medications she is currently taking! He was also unwilling to refer her to someone else! How can you call yourself a Dr and be completely unwilling to help someone who so obviously needs a good Dr?? You would think that coming across a patient who has a challenging case, a patient who has been struggling with her heart for the last 2 years, a patient who you could truly make a difference for.. you would think that as a Dr, those would be the patients you would get the most excited about. Not Dr Farhoud!

Dr I just finished watching 60 min. and was so ashamed of our country. I still pray for your family and your peace and I hope someday Donald will need the best Cardiologist and find himself looking into your eyes. I found this so compelling I had to write some where and hope someone will show you. Shirley Kern

My mother had open heart surgery and Dr Farhoud was her cardiologist. Dr Farhoud was extremely thorough with mom, explaining to us both when something happened or changed (she was in ICU for 13 days). He laid out options in detail and gave us choices. His bedside manner is 2nd to none. I have never been treated with anything but the utmost respect and warmth. He made my family and mom feel like we were his most important patients.
