Rachel Garcetti, PA

I have seen Rachel Garcetti for four years for type II diabetes, exacerbated by stage IV chronic kidney disease. She is very knowledgeable, answers all my questions and addresses all my concerns. Her evaluations are always thorough and responses to my questions by e-mail are quick. If you can get in to see her - do it!! She can't cure it (yet), but will treat it as effectively as possible.

Not impressed and would not recommend - worst experience I have ever had with a PA. I am usually ok seeing a PA but she didn't seem very well versed in medicine. I was so sick and ended up seeing a Dr. at the ER after my visit with her only 6 hours earlier. I ended up on medicine I should have had prescribed by her but she said it would go away in a week or 2. Good thing I didn't trust her and went to the ER.

This is the best provider I have not only seen for my diabetes but in my life. The care, concern, and help she gives is something above and beyond any type of care I have ever received. She follows up with you about what you talked about during your appointment, she spends time with you and constantly asks during your appointment if there is anything else she can do for you. She brings up things on her own that I've been concerned about for years but other providers blew off. She fixes things.
