Just Awful
I had a terrible experience with Dr. Bull. My surgeon referred me to her to start medication needed to prevent complications during the surgery and she somehow got the idea her opinion on even having the surgery was wanted. People come from around the world to see my surgeon and he definitely doesn't need her input.I have a pathogenic gene deletion, nearly every symptom of the problem it causes and alarming imaging but Dr. Bull thought my PTSD from being SA'd might be more relevant. She very much had the attitude of trying to prove I don't need help rather than helping me.

Tried to become a new patient
This is common in the Denver area so feel protected by colleagues. Medical businesses often wont see new customers/patients without specific references and labs up front. I realize that these barriers are to make sure that each new patient/customer has adequate insurance and is within acceptable demographics but this mentality is sufficient for me to move on. I called today and listened to this pushback for the 3rd time this week (different medical businesses). I'll choose the doctor (may have to go out of state) and then I'll get a reference from my frustrated GP and I'll submit labs and describe symptoms and then I'll submit my Cadillac, Silicon Valley insurance plan.

I have OCD and was super frustrated because the whole appointment was late, but I was really mean to her and feel pretty crappy about it, so this review makes me feel better. She handled the attitude quite gracefully.

This was the first time in 8 years that I have found a doctor that was actually wanting to dive deeper into my situation and actually take the time to evaluate and ask about history. She wanted to conduct her own tests and not rely on previous tests, which I have experienced with every doctor over the past 8 years. She actually took the time to listen to me and explain how and why she wanted to evaluate in different areas, unlike past doctors Dr. Bull was going beyond basic tests.

Dr. Bull's staff is supportive and experienced. She is an excellent communicator. I needed a physician who would be willing to work with me to lower my A1C without loading me up with unnecessary medication, and she is caring and responsive to that need.

I attended an appointment, with Dr. Bull, last week, and was impressed by her logic, and caring demeanor. I have a background in health care, and thus have some experience, in these matters. I know that individual impressions are subjective, but feel that I was well treated. I would not hesitate, if I had to go back, for another appointment. I would also recommend the doctor, to anyone I care about.
