Refuses to Release Medical Records
We have waited for over three months for this office to release medical records. I've called several times. I was told they're in storage and that it could take months for them to pull the records. When I pointed out that state law requires doctors to release medical records to the patient, the rude person in his office said, I know. It will be a few months. Now, three months later, no records and it's harming my son's treatment. The other doctor's office has requested those records and haven't received them either. Totally unacceptable. Avoid this office!

Patient & Kind
Dr. Nayak has been seeing my special needs daughter for the past 14 years. He has always been available throughout her many hospital stays (other illnesses) and walked us through caring for her.

Dr Nayak was great to deal with. Getting lab results and prescriptions was much too difficult. It took several phone calls each and every time. Last straw was when I was told my child's rx was called in only to find out the pharmacy never received it.

My 16 son is 5'2''. Despite his size, he has worked extremely hard and achieved much success as a youth athlete. He was the only freshman in his class of over 600 students last year to letter in 2 varsity sports; tennis and lacrosse. At our last appointment, Dr Nayak asked my son what sports he's invloved in. My son told Dr Nayak that he plays lacrosse, to which the fine Dr said that my son should find a new sport like swimming or golf, where size isn't an issue. Really? Avoid this Dr!

Our 17 year old son was diagnosed with T1D at age two. Upon the diagnosis in emergency, he was in critical condition, and ground flight for life transported him to another hospital. Dr. Nayak was there and waiting upon our arrival. Our son was less than 24 hours from death, but Dr. Nayak was hopeful, and seemed competent. His gentle demeanor and confidence made us comfortable enough to go home for the night and we didn't even know him. We have been with Dr. Nayak, ever since, no regrets.

Dr. Nayak is an amazing doctor who really cares about the work he is doing with his patients. He always explains everything in great detail, answering all questions. He has made our daughter's diagnosis of hypothyroidism something we can deal with easily. The only issue we have is with his office/office staff---mainly just the office manager, Natalie Bloch. She is not nice and shouldn't be working with people.

I took my daughter to see Dr. Nayak for thyroid nodule, he was very friendly, listened to my concerns and spent time explaining not only what a nodule is and how it may or may not be something to be concerned about. It was a great experience and wouldn't hesitate to recommend him! Thank You and your office staff for being kind, considerate and professional.
