Rheumatology for crohns
She wanted to know all about my family history which would give a better answer for my specific Auto immune deficiencies. I was very upfront with her about my drinking and how I didn't want medicines that would worsen my kidneys or liver by drinking. She went through all of my history very quickly even looking over all my x-rays and MRIs. We discussed doctors that I can see for primary care physicians. She was very real and very upfront with me. Bottom line is, make sure you know your family's history all of your families history for medical concerns. Bottom line is, make sure you know all of your medications so that you can discuss everything with her. After I quickly summed up 20 years of my life in a 15 minute conversation, she was able to prescribe me extra medicine that wouldn't affect my kidneys or liver as much. She also gave me valuable information about primary care physicians that I should be looking for. She also asked me to get my eyes examined since it has been over 5 y

I wish I would have just not shown up
50 min drive from my house to her office for my appt at 8am. I Decided to leave my house at 6:45 because I would have to take my 3 year old with me and I wanted to be prepared for traffic. Despite me leaving SO early my ETA was saying 10 minutes past 8 because I sat for what seemed like forever due to a motorcycle accident. I called the office at 7:20am to let them know i would be 10 minutes late .i told them I didn’t want to waste their time or cause issues. They reassured me as long as I wasn’t past 15 minutes late it’s not a big deal and the provider would see me. So I got there and was checked in at 8:10am When I met with the dr she spent the first couple minute scolding me for being late and talking to me like a child. She then scolded me for not remembering the name of a medication I was only on for 5 days MONTHS ago even though it was right infront of her face , she just over looked it. If I answered with anything other than yes or no she would interrupt and not let me fini

Worst Provider Ever
Wasted my time interrogating me about my personal life which had nothing to do with the reason for my visit. Left the office crying.

For the love of all the above, do not go here
A) 2.5 hr visit of just talking about my personal life (which had nothing to do with why i was there) and randomly bouncing back to my health B) she made comments about my weight (and Im average size) C) rather than giving me the test I was there for, she only asked yes or no questions and decided I didnt need the testing??prolonged help that I am in need of D) made unnecessary and uncomfortable comments about my family and ethnic background E) she would make me repeat phrases that (now knowing the information that I know) is very incorrect F) based off her analysis I was referred to get a bone marrow biopsy( which I did NOT need) again prolonging help I needed and added unnecessary pain and suffering for me G) wouldnt listen when I complained about pain or tiredness. It felt like she thought I was making it up to her. Do not, for the love of all the above, meet with her. It’s a waste of time and money.

I waited a while to get an appointment and I wish now I had never seen her. She was very rude and acted like she didn’t believe I was in horrible pain. I have had bloodwork and been to several specialists and she acted like she was above me and everyone else. She wouldn’t listen or answer questions and when I told her I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia and other autoimmune diseases as well as osteoarthritis she said just because they tell you that doesn’t make it true! She literally grabbed my upper arms so hard out of the blue I yelled and started to cry. She said “ oh my staff is used to hearing my patients yell” really? I had red finger marks for a couple days on my arms. If she would have told me she needed to squeeze a little hard I may have prepared for it but she grabbed me like she was mad at life. I left feeling like I wasted my time and still had no answers. She has NO idea how to handle patients with a caring and compassionate manner!

She did not listen to me. She did not hear my concerns. She attempted to sound human a few times but still came off like an android. Was 100% uncomfortable.

Frustrated and Unheard
I was turned off when I would try to answer questions and she would cut me off, demanding a yes/no answer only. Auto Immune diseases are complicated and can't be limited to strictly yes/no. Some days I feel like I can't move without every inch of me hurting. Other days I'm semi-ok. I never 100% feel good. I'm in pain daily. Some days I am so frustrated I just want to cry due to pain. When I was explaining side effects from the meds she put me on, she acted like it was impossible and all in my head. I didn't feel heard. I felt like she had a superiority complex and nothing I said was considered. It is super frustrating. I am currently trying to find a new RA dr and have finally set up an appt for another. I am hoping I click with the next one so that I can formerly change providers and get someone who listens and hears my concerns without judgment.

Go somewhere else
My first visit and she obviously had to note my medical history, but she'd ask a yes/no question and when I tried giving her the whole background as my answer wasn't a yes/no answer. After she cut me off several times, I called her on it and she did that a few more times. When I mentioned I helped a family member move in Dec - Jan, she questioned why it took so long . She also acted disturbed that I was one of nine children. I just didn't get her vibe which was as though she were extremely superior and spoke down to me. Overall, it was a waste of my time & my co-pay as she said her specialty wasn't what I needed even though I was referred there by another doctor. I did what they told me - how am I to know she couldn't help. I ended up leaving the office and won't see her if I need a rheumatologist in the future.
