Uncaring, unprofessional, had to call back for scr
Dr Pudhota did not want to listen to symptoms. She would not discuss past 2 symptoms, and seemed irritated when I persisted. She did not explain what could be wrong; just told me she would prescribe medications. Then she did not explain the medications. Days later I had to call back and ask her to send the medications. She only sent 2 of the 3 she discussed. This was an awful experience.

Disrespectful
I came in with my mom to get her appointment done. They told us to come in 15 minutes early to fill out paperwork just for them to be on a lunch break. After waiting, they gave us paperwork to fill out and as I was writing out my mom's name, they rushed us into a room. Dr. Pudhota treated me and my mother as if we were below her. She was yelling at my mom as if she was yards away from her, repeating to my mom as if she was dumb. I had told her prior that she’d be speaking to me because I’d be translating for my mom. She walked out of the room MID conversation, as I was repeating to her what my mom had wanted so she wouldn’t leave. MID through the door, she gives me and my mom an attitude. She walked away after finishing up with our appointment, and didn’t bother pointing us to where to leave so we wandered around finding the exit. We approached a staff member and he guided us out, I explained to him about us getting mistreated and he dismissed our problems.

I had a bad experience with Dr. Pudhota and feel compelled to caution other patients. The initial consultation felt rushed, leaving me with unanswered questions and a sense of unease. Although the procedure itself went well, my follow-up appointment online was a repeat of the initial consultation (rushed and dismissive). During the follow-up, I sought clarification on the recommended procedure, hoping for a more thorough understanding. However, her lack of engagement and reluctance to delve into details left me feeling overlooked and disregarded. Despite my attempts to learn more about the procedure's timeline, potential side effects, success rates, and alternative options, her responses remained cursory at best. From rushed consultations to a dismissive attitude towards patient concerns, her practice falls short of the standard of care one should expect from a healthcare professional. For those seeking attentive, patient-centric care, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere.

Definitely would NOT recommend! So much so, I am willing to share personal info. This is a shortened version of my review, only because there is too much to mention regarding my 4 appointments with her. This is what I messaged my primary care physician… The fu appointment with Dr. Pudhota did not go well at all. It was an online visit. She proceeded to chew me out for not attending my fu appt after my colonoscopy & stated if I had, I would know I had colitis. When she finally stopped talking & I was able to talk, I asked her if she was sure she had the correct chart because I most definitely did attend my fu appt. In fact, she told me she removed 2 polyps & I had internal hemorrhoids. She asked me if I would like to schedule a procedure to repair the hemorrhoids. I said no not at this time, maybe later. At this point she looked confused & told me I would have to get blood work, stool samples & another colonoscopy. She did not allow me to ask questions or talk so I was unable….

This DR. Does not listen to patients , or their actual symptoms, does not bother to provide all test results and when she does, they are wrong, when brought to her attention she gets flustered, belligerent and rude. I wish I had come across this page and these reviews prior to meeting with the DR., and saved my time/money, this DR. does not care about her patients or actually helping them. She told me nothing was wrong, but the tests said otherwise, then said what I had was no big deal it was due to age, but everything I researched on my own said otherwise and when brought to her attention she back tracked and tried to put me on medication, I don’t think so! Multiple red flags, and then she asked me for the “text book definition of a red flag.” Overall disappointed in her behavior , lack of communication and overall care for patient well being. I am still sick and found relief or answers with this DR. only frustration and time wasted.

I just had an appt. W/ the DR. regarding results from a procedure on 11/27, she began by saying nothing was found and everything was good, however the results I received indicated otherwise. I brought this to her attention and she claimed these issues were normal and due to age, I advised that I had read otherwise, at this point she reversed course. She stated that one of the issues I had could cause some of the symptoms I was having and while the other issue was small it was not life threatening but could also explain some of the symptoms, seriously??? I asked her if she completed the test I requested during the procedure based on family history, which could have been done during my procedure and she stated she saw no need to , what??? At this point I advised her that this was another red flag for me as a patient, that she was not listening to me as her patient. I explained, or tried to explain the first and second instance, but she kept cutting me off, and asked for the “text book definition of red flag.” The DR. Proceeded to become unprofessional and did not allow me to explain to her what I felt the issues were, this was and is the problem. As a patient you want the doctor to listen to you and all the symptoms, family history (regardless of when it is provided as it is not always readily available). This DR, disappeared the day of my procedure and had to be paged multiple times before the procedure and then instead of being available after, felt getting herself coffee was more important. Lastly ignored the report and when called out about it became extremely rude and unprofessional. I would look elsewhere for help, this DR. will ignore you, and ask you for definitions even though she is the one who should look things up!

TERRIBLE Dr. – Oct 16, 2023

Staff are idiots
The doctor is fine. Her staff are morons. I had an 8:30 Monday morning appointment to go over the results of my EGD from a week ago. I go in, the girl takes my blood pressure, etc. She leaves and I’m expecting to see the doctor. The girl comes back in and says they haven’t got the results back from the EGD yet. To say I was furious would be an understatement. NOBODY CALLED TO LET ME KNOW THAT I DIDN’T NEED TO COME IN!!!! Surely they knew that by end of day on Friday. I have various medical conditions I’m dealing with me at the moment besides holding down a high-stress job. Mondays are my days off. I don’t enjoy going to the doctor for no reason. SOMEBODY dropped the ball on this one.

Poor Bedside Manner, Does Not Listen to Patients
I was referred to Dr. Pudhota and had 3 poor interactions with her. My first was an office visit. I'd just went to the ER for related conditions, and she did not ask any questions related to my symptoms. She was only concerned about performing the GI and colonoscopy. She did not ask any questions that were not related to that. The second was after the procedure to which she said, "everything looks good" but did not offer any details. I had to ask. The third was a follow up visit where I expressed my concern regarding the previous visits. She told me that she was not a PCP that's why she didn't ask questions and continued to talk over me. I would not recommend seeing her.

Very precise explanation, very detailed, accurate and comforting. I had my colonoscopy ONLY, because she was confident, knowledgeable, and obviously experienced. Did a great job, follow on was exceptionally good, and I have been advising and referring Dr PUDHOTA , to my friends, and family. THE BEST!

OMG... words can't explain the awesomeness of Dr Pudhota. From her friendly staff, Ashley the receptionist was absolutely amazing, friendly and answered all my questions. The medical assistant ( sorry forgot her name) was courteous and friendly and took her time with my dad who is 72. Then in walked in Dr Pudhota who took her time to answer each and everyone of our questions and helped us understand my dad's situation. From entrance to exit this was a doctor's trip that was very pleasing. Thanks Dr Pudhota for making my dad and mom at ease with the current situation
