Misogynis t & Rude
Saw Steve here for a surgical stye removal this morning. For context, I am a woman in my 20s. During the procedure when i tried to clarify that i could feel the needle & ask if the numbing agent was working correctly, he told me that “You have my nose pierced, so you’ll be fine” & inexplicably added that “women give birth everyday”. This is completely inappropriate, incredibly dismissive of my pain, & made me very uncomfortable. Do not see this “doctor”, this guy sucks.

I waited 15 mins for an assistant to see me.Then she proceeded to dilate my eyes and give me a generic eye exam even though I said specifically I was only there for a glaucoma check. After taking out my contacts and having the dilation, she put me in a room where I waited. And waited. And waited. After 45 minutes of no one know coming by to even say sorry for the wait, I got up and left never having saw the doctor. Unacceptable. An office visit with no procedure should not take almost 2 hours. I immediately called my insurance and told them I am refusing to pay anything for this "visit" when the doctor never even spoke to me. I also told them they should drop this guy and CHA from in network. Sorry for typos but the pointless dilation makes it difficult.

Had him for 4 years. Maybe not his fault but I had progressively worse office visits. This week I had a 2:30pm appointment. By 4pm he still hadn't seen me. No one came out to tell me he was running late, or running beyond late. Unacceptable. I walked out. You can do better.

Dr Patalano performed Lasik surgery on my eyes in 2006 and have been very happy with the results. Since then, he has performed the surgery on my wife, my sister and two other friends. I continue to see him for routine eye exams and find him to be warm, caring and extremly smart/knowledge. My three children are now patients of him

I will never recommend this doctor. I waited for 2 1/2 hours in the waiting room along with many other patients. Clearly either the doctor or the office don’t respect their patients time .
