All the staff were wonderful, caring, professional yet personable all the time ready to answer any question I had. The entire office was efficient and moved me through the appointment without unreasonable and expected delay. The two people that stood out above all were Veronica and Cindy Reinert. Dr. YONEKAWA was professional, focused, and all the ready to answer any question I might have.

This was my first time seeing Dr Yonekawa. He was professional, knowledgeable and friendly. He really explains things well. He listened to my concerns, performed a thorough examination and immediately put in place a treatment plan. In fact, I had my first treatment that day. I was at risk for a retinal tear, and he performed a laser treatment that day to mitigate that risk. He and the nurses explained everything ahead of time in detail. He reiterated what to expect throughout the procedure. I was nervous at first because I've never had anything like this done before. He was great about making sure I knew what to expect and even post procedure the expectations he set were accurate. It took so much of the fear and anxiety out of the process for me. I am so grateful my ophthalmologist referred me to WillsEye Physicians Mid Atlantic Retina and that I was able to see Dr Yonekawa.

I had vitreous detachments on both of my retinas about 18 months ago. Laser surgery was performed on the left eye for a retinal tear. I stilI have occasional floaters on the repaired eye but otherwise my vision is excellent. I now go for periodic checkups to make sure everything continues functioning properly. I believe I am receiving the best possible care. Dr Yonekawa is always friendly and seems to really enjoy helping people.

This entire staff is excellent - from the folks checking patients in all the way to the Doctor actually supervising my treatment. This is an A plus experience. The Doctor (Dr.Yonekawa) is caring and concerned — and thoroughly professional in every way. The staff working with Dr. Y are also extremely professional and very organized and efficient in everything they do. Dr Yonekawa is one of the very few ROP specialists in this region. I feel fortunate to have him as my physician. He is excellent!

I was recently diagnosed with Diabetic Retinopathy. Everyone in your Cherry Hill office was great. Staff is excellent.

My right eye vision suddenly became blurry and wavy. Dr. Yonekawa immediately reacted and explained how an eye injection would restore my vision. His explanations were thorough and easily understood. My right eye vision is restored and I’m grateful for Dr. Yonekawa’s support and expertise.

Dr. Konekawa was amazing! He caught a hole in my right eye..retinal detachment and performed emergency laser surgery. The Finance Dept. worked withme so the procedures I needed could be performed.When Dr. Konekawa gave me the news I broke out hysterical crying and he and his wonderful assistant comforted me and assured me they would take careof me and they did! I am so blessed and so thankful for the skillset of my doctor and his team!! I got both procedures successfully done.

Dr. Yonekawa is an amazing ophthalmologist. I’ve been a patient since 2021. He has done a vitrectomy on both eyes. I am extremely pleased with the outcome. The hole in the retina of my left eye was challenging. He evaluated options and a multi treatment plan chosen.

Had a retinal detachment. I presented to Wills Eye ED and was referred to Mid-Atlantic Retina. After testing I was added to the surgery schedule as the last case of the day. Dr. Yonekawa was kind, courteous, answered all questions and my surgery went perfectly. My vision in the affected eye is now 20/25! Dr. Yonekawa is an outstanding academician, a highly skilled surgeon and a compassionate person. Very highly recommended.
