Dr. Sally Holtzman, MD

I brought a relative for her first GYN appointment. Dr. Holtzman was absolutely amazing. Thorough, patient and kind. I wish every young woman had this kind of first experience.

Because of retirements, I have cycled through 3 OB-GYN's in the past few years. None has addressed my concerns related to menopause until Dr. Holtzman. She took the time to listen to my concerns and proposed solutions to each. It has been a long time since I have felt truly cared for by a physician. I am happy that I found Dr. Holtzman and would highly recommend her.

I went to Dr. Holtzman for an annual and had some concerns about birth control and heavy periods. She was extremely rude, condescending and dismissive. I was lead astray on several items, including a polyp that needed to be removed. Told me to "get on birth control to deal with the polyp." She was condescending about reproductive age, choices, etc. 10/10 would not recommend.

I have been to Dr Holtzman about 10 times over the years. She is very professional and thorough. She asks probing questions and wants to make sure you have all the answers that you need. She goes above and beyond what is necessary. Highly recommend.

In one visit, I was gaslit, blamed for a technical error, and completely dismissed when showed very clear signs of discomfort. Would not recommend.

I should read the reviews before request an appointment with Dr Sally Holtzman, I can't believe how he makes me feel. She puts zero interest in my concerns ... she was desperate to go to her next appointment. I asked her something and she pointed what she already said to me...I know that for her is just another appointment, but for me was an appointment that I was waiting for... A really rude person

Terrible. She dismissed my concerns. She didn't give me any time to ask questions. She wasn't given any of the information I provided to the medical assistant and at the very end when I finally had a chance to bring up some of those things, our appointment was over. At that time, she threw out a very casual "oh, it could be endometriosis" with no explanation of what that meant. Her only recommendation was to take birth control for my problems despite me saying I didn't want to take birth control. She didn't ask why I didn't want to be on birth control. She basically just left the room at the end of the appointment in the middle of me still asking questions. It was a terrible experience.

Terrible bedside manner. Physically rough exam. Will never see her again.

Condescending, rough, fast and rude. Made me feel like a statistic. Her intake was an attempt to profile and categorize me. Pressured me to get on birth control three times even after I explained that I chart and track my ovulation. Cervix was sore for several days afterward. Was harassed for a follow-up appointment and I had to ask them to stop calling me like 4 or 5 times.

Very condesending and spent zero time trying to actually get to know me or acertain whether I might already know what she was talking about. Felt incredibly talked down to. Spent an inordinate amount of time with procedure, which was much more painful than with other practitioners I've had. Will not return to, or recommend her.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. This woman is vastly experienced in her field (multiple decades), kind, graceful, informative and patient with my questions--everything I look for in my ob/gyn doctor. She made what was a very uncomfortable process surprisingly very comfortable, giving me the play-by-play of everything she was about to do and what I should expect. The procedure went very smoothly. I liked that she asked about my career, which shows her value of and contribution to women and women's health.

I felt very comfortable with Dr. Holtzman and thought she explained things well. I didn't feel rushed or condescended to like with some healthcare professionals. The office is well-appointed and cozy, staff friendly. No one LOVES going to the lady doctor, but this was better than most experiences I've had.
