My husband and I both had spinal surgery by Dr Ryan Kretzer and we both were extremely please with his competence, surgical skills, bedside manner, and his office staff. He explained things very well and always asked if we had any questions for him. I was especially happy I could speak to his office staff when I called instead of an answering service. We’re so grateful he was able to schedule our surgeries so quickly. A++

Had surgery Dec 19 through the back of my neck. 4 nights in hospital. Pain was excruciating. I begged and was never given proper meds to stop my intense suffering. Never again.

Waited 4 months to see Kretzer and drive 60 miles to his office. Told my appointment was cancelled and would have to wait 5 more months to see the Dr. His assistant claimed she called me about the cancellation but said my cell phone answered and immediately hung up. I asked her to call my cell at the office and the call was received with no problem. Asked why they didn’t text me and staff claimed this was a HIPPA violation yet all my other Drs text me all the time concerning appointments etc. Without a doubt, Kretzer’s staff is incompetent and uncaring.

I had severe spinal issues that included bulging disks, osteoarthritis, severe stenosis at many levels and scoliosis. There were very few neurosurgeons interested in taking my case. Dr. Kretzer was confident that he could help me and he certainly did! I had an 8 hour operation where my spine was fused from T10-Sacrum along with lamenectomy. My operation was 3 months ago and already I can walk without a walker or cane. I have had very little pain and discontinued my pain medication after one week post operation. I feel like I am a walking miracle and am very grateful to God and Dr. Kretzer for giving me my life back. Before this operation I was using a walker and was in constant pain. Today I have a new lease on life. I highly recommend Dr. Kretzer, especially if you have a difficult situation.

Punctual. Dr. Kretzer is always personable, but down to business also. He made sure that I understood everything he explained & asked questions about my current health.

This neurosurgeon is just the best. I have a complicated spinal condition and I have trusted my life to this doctor. Plus, he’s just a nice man! Always even keeled, happy to discuss your questions and simply tells it like it is. I always feel like decisions are completely inclusive. No pressure. I feel fortunate to have this doctor here in Tucson!

The office processing prior to appt time was efficient. Surroundings comfortable. Appt. time met within 20 min of schedule. Dr Kretzer was personable and made me feel comfortable with my questions and concerns. I am satisfied with recommendations and advice given.
