Dr Murphy gave me my life back. I was 2 years in excruciating pain due to a nerve tumor at L5-S1. He was the only doctor who found it after MULTIPLE doctors trying to convince me of it being scar tissue and wanting to go in and put a “patch” on it. He was the only surgeon not money hungry who took the time to send me for another MRI and wait to see if it grew or not and then take action. He brought up the idea of a nerve tumor and was not overly confident and egotistic of his ability to successfully resect it and me walk away perfectly like other “surgeons” did. He successfully completed the surgery and went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable while in recovery and visited me MULTIPLE times and took every precautionary step necessary to make sure I recovered to the best of my ability. Honestly the most phenomenal person, surgeon & staff I’ve ever encountered.

I am so grateful to Dr. Murphy and his team. I highly recommend him and I am so thankful to him! Every part of my experience with he and the team were beyond expectations. I had a microdiscectomy performed and he explained in detail what to expect. From the 1st visit, to the surgery to the post-op visits, he showed empathy and kindness. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional. You will literally be in the best hands!

Having back issues and possible surgery is never a fun thought. I was extremely nervous going into my initial consultation, but everyone in the office was great. Surgery has been a success and I can’t thank Dr. Murphy and his staff enough!

Dr Murphy was extremely clear and straight forward regarding the patient’s condition and what to expect after surgery. Referring to X-rays and other tests, he explained what will occur and showed the very successful results.

This doctor and his team are truly amazing! I have a very complex injury to my C6 nerve at spinal cord, I first met Dr Murphy in the ICU and then 6 months later to discuss surgery. I couldn’t believe how much Dr Murphy cared about his patients and he took the time to explain how serious the injury was but also comforted me in his confidence in both surgeries. He took the time to explain everything and didn’t make me feel like a number! His staff is just as remarkable in all aspects especially communication! Visit was great! I’ve been treated well every time. Had 3 disks replaced. Was in so much pain and so weak. Now all is pretty good.

Dr Murphy is an excellent surgeon. He answered all my questions and explained things well. The office is run efficiently and I was kept in the loop regarding all appointments and other issues. I highly recommend him if you need any neck surgery. He works out of a BNI satellite office which was very convenient for me.
