Dishonest and doesn’t have a truthful soul.
If you’re assigned to go to this guy, don’t expect a fair evaluation!! It’s definitely a reason the insurance company pays him to evaluate employees. He wants you to think he’s a humble guy by talking about family and grandchildren. I thank GOD every day that I was able to take off work and be there for my husband. God only knows If I wasn’t no telling what would’ve happen. For this so called Dr. to look at my husband and say nothing is wrong with him and he can return back to work is BS. What truck driver do you know that’s barely walking on a Cain and can’t pull himself up to get in the truck is okay? At the end of the day I pray that none of his family has to ever deal with a money hungry deceitful medical person like him. I have to keep telling myself there are GOOD people that actually love their jobs and true to their patients. Unfortunately this one isn’t and in due time he will end up answering to MY GOD and he will remind him of it all. God BLESS YOU Sir.!

If you’re assigned to go to this guy, don’t expect a fair evaluation. It’s a reason the insurance company pay him to evaluate employees. He will give you a speech about not being partial and ask you about your incident, then he will use it in his report to help benefit the insurance company for a favorable opinion against you. Remember everyone doesn’t have integrity and the insurance company knows how to to find them to save thousands of dollars.

He knows & why in TX – Dec 18, 2019

If I could give him negative stars I would. I was referred to this quack by my workers comp. I knew reading his previous reviews it would not be a good visit. The first thing he said to me he was not there for me but for the company I work for. But that being said he would treat me as if I found him in the phone book. He did not listen to anything I had to say, only telling he knew everything about my injury. He only spent about 10 minutes with me and in the end of the appointment he walked

I was in EXCRUCIATING pain. I was in the hospital 5 days when Bauer waltzed in my room & without introducing himself or doing an exam, declared nothing was wrong. He declared the MRI that said I had a herniation touching the exiting nerve root was wrong. He implied I was there for drugs. His Dx was Waddell’s sign - that I was faking. I got another doc. I ended up in the hospital 9 more days, disabled & on a walker. If I saw him to this day, I’d have to restrain myself. You deserve better.

I had surgery for spinal stenosis in 2004. Before surgery was done several tests including an MRI were done to make sure that surgery was the way to go. This I like this, it prevents doing procedures if they are not needed. Recently I went back, 2016, I have started having lower back pain. After examining me, Dr. Bauer determined that old age and arthritis is my problem. So now I am going to Physical Therapy to help with the flexibility and pain. After the PT we will review treatment.

On my first and last visit to this doctor. When he was suggesting further tests, he suggested to me, that my lumbar fusion from around 2011 might not be healed. He wanted me to have a CT scan to determine if my fusion had healed. I consider this to be pure foolishness!! I would recommend to everyone to DO NOT waste your time and money, on this doctor. It is apparent why he has such low Health Grades.
