Dr Scheinberg was one of the best orthopaedic surgeons I've ever seen. He was honest, forthright and sincere with explaining my options. He's a conservative surgeon that is genuine with his care and recommendations. I would strongly recommend him to anyone looking for an experienced, knowledgable and caring surgeon.

This doctor's clinic (Texas Orthopedic Associates) has a receptionist screening calls to determine whether they will allow you to see him. My mother has an amputated leg at the knee, and was instructed by her primary physician and her prosthesis specialist to see an orthopedist in order to determine why her leg continues to hurt at the knee end after a year of healing - one can feel what seems to be bone sticking out in odd places in the knee area. She needs to be fitted for a prosthesis but cannot do so until an orthopedist has examined and treated her leg so that it is pain free for the fitting. Their response to our request to see Dr. Scheinberg was that none of the orthopedists at this clinic felt that this issue was one that they could handle. This response makes no sense because this is exactly what orthopedists do - find out why a bone or bones is/are causing pain and to find a remedy. This office seems to be very snobbish, unless the receptionist did not convey our problem adequately to the professionals or to Dr. Scheinberg in particular. We texted a more clarified description of our bone-related problem to this staff member and asked if there was any other reason for the decline of services but received no further response. Very hurtful and unkind office.

Dr. Scheinberg is compassionate and knowledgeable. He is a fantastic surgeon as well. I think he is the best of the best.

Dr. Scheinberg is an outstanding physician, he was extremely thorough in evaluating my hip and provided me with options and the best course of action to resolve my hip issues. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Scheinberg to anyone dealing with complex hip issues.

Excellent experience

I spent very little time in the waiting room before I was taken into an exam room. Another short wait before x-rays were taken, which were done very efficiently and with clear instructions. Dr. Schoenberg was personable and professional. He was hands-on, rotating my knee in several directions. His explanation of my condition was very clear and reassuring. If I have any future issues with my knee I will definitely return to see Dr. Schoenberg.

Dr. Sheinberg examined and evaluated my knee and gave me my options in a very clear and understandable manor. It left me understanding what my options were and helped me to make a decision in moving forward.

I really like Dr. Scheinberg and his staff. He takes time with patients and he listens! The nurse was also very friendly and took time to listen to all my concerns and history before Dr. Scheinberg came in. He takes a conservative approach and does not try to force anything on patients and instead works out treatment plans and procedures tailored to the patient. He has an excellent bedside manner, and just seems like a nice person. Very down to earth and friendly. Highly recommended!
