Wonderful caring and compassionate doctor. He listened to my concerns and understood my anxiety to eliminate my pain in my right knee.

Dr. Minnotti was pleasant, courteous and a good listener. I prefer a medical provider who is no nonsense and straightforward. Although obviously very competent and knowledgeable he was more than willing to listen to what I had to say about my situation and was clear about what surgery would and would not improve.

Dr Minotti was willing to help me as long as I wanted for my knee issues, but the bottom line was I would eventually need total knee replacement on both of my knees. I had one done by him in 2022, excellent results, will have the next one done in 2024. Dr Minotti explained to me, he would do his job, but afterwards, I had to do my job to get the results that I wanted for my knee. My job consisted of exercising my knee and going to physical therapy. I did my job and honestly I have ZERO issues with this knee now. I will be forever thankful to Dr Minotti for helping me achieve my goals.

I had pain in my knee and Xrays were taken. The doctor explained that I had mild arthritis and suggested that I get a cortisone injection, which was done at the same visit. Dr. Minotti explained every step of the process and described what I could expect when he injected the cortisone. He also explained what to expect a few days after the procedure and advised that it would take a few days for the cortisone to take effect. I appreciated the compassion he displayed during the visit.

Dr Minotti replaced my left hip 5 years ago with excellent results. I have been having trouble with my right hip and went in to see Dr Minotti. After a quick x-ray he told me that the pain I've been having was not being caused by my hip.

Dr. Minotti is a wonderful surgeon; I high recommend his professional expertise and surgical care. I had a total hip replacement in his Branford Surgical center location in 2020, out- patient! I went in at 5 a.m. for pre-anthesia, etc. assisted with a cane, and walked out the same morning at 11 a.m. without any device or person aiding me walking on my new hip! Incredible. Dr. Minotti arranged for PT to begin at home the same day as surgery, and daily thereafter for a week. He ordered an ice machine and had a nurse visit to check my incision, vitals at home daily for a week while recovering. His care leading up to the surgery as well as post-surgery was very thorough, and his professional explanations, answers to my questions, and recovery guidance was excellent. The surgery center and Dr. Minotti took all my calls directly throughout the process, unlike the "My Chart" communication process. A++ Fantastic doctor!

I went to see Dr Minotti for evaluation of intermittent pain in my left hip. X-rays showed moderate arthritis and I was told it will be my choice to decide when I choose to have a hip replacement. Injections can be done to ease pain until surgery becomes necessary, and I was shown stretching exercises I should do to ease pain I also experience along the side of my hip and buttocks due to muscles. The suggestion of using a cane was made which would provide stability and take some pressure off my hip. The use of anti inflammatory medication for a short time along with Acetaminophen for pain was discussed. I was very impressed with Dr Minotti. His office runs smoothly and he listened to my questions and explained in detail treatments to help alleviate my problem. I liked the fact that he didn’t want to do a surgery before it’s absolutely necessary. When the time for a hip replacement comes, Dr Minotti will be my choice for a surgeon.
