Dr. David Kruger is a very professional, highly skilled and knowledgeable surgeon, who took the time to listen to my concerns and answer all of my questions. He showed me kindness and respect as he helped me understand what I was dealing with and what my options were to relieve the pain I was experiencing in my back and leg. He put me at ease, and I left their feeling very confident in the care I received, and in knowing that he had my best interest at heart. Dr. David Kruger is a friendly, caring, and compassionate doctor who I hold in very high regard. I highly recommend him to anyone who is dealing with back pain due to protruding or herniated discs. Thank you, Dr. Kruger for caring about my well-being and for being patient with me throughout this whole process.

I would recommend Dr. Kruger to everyone
Dr Kruger was very friendly and patient. I have had bad experiences with some Drs 20 yrs ago who made me feel that the pain I felt were in my head but the pain I had was very real. I have no trust in Drs. But my Drs now especially Dr. Kruger I trust him. He took his time and listened to me. Not once did he say I was wasting his time. He examined me and told me there was nothing he could do for me which I had expected but my pain comes from nerve pain not bone. Of course I lost faith not in him but in me because the pain I feel hits the excruciating point that I can’t move.. But, Dr. Kruger recommended a Back Institution which basically takes care of backs which I didn’t know he was calling. They called me the next day. He also made a hip a”appointment for me to see a hip specialist. Dr. Kruger did listen to me and he is helping me. I trust Dr. Kruger and will recommend him to anyone who needs help in his field of Orthopedic Surgery. Thank You for Reading my opinion. Nina

Took the time to explain things clearly
Dr. Kruger was very helpful in explaining my condition and the various options for treatment. He took the time to answer all my questions and explained the pros and cons of the various treatment options. I would feel very comfortable going back to him if the need arises.

Excellent doctor
I had surgery by doctor Kruger and I have follow up visits. My follow up visit was great and he takes the time to address all of my issues and concerns. He cares about me and that’s hard to find. I definitely recommend him for back problems.

Nothing has happened. 5 minute appointment.
I got hurt at work on 2/11. My lower back on the left side. I’ve had 2 MRIs and was referred to Dr. Kruger. 2 weeks before my last appointment I called at 3am literally crying this pain is so bad and begging for help. My following appointment lasted 5 minutes. I was asked to stand on my toes, then my heels, and then the Doctor said “see you in a month”. I can’t live like this anymore. I haven’t got more than 4 hours sleep in a night since February. I once had a PCP where I was prescribed Ativan to sleep (and go in public without panic attacks), well the office was closed due to the manager writing prescriptions fr her friends. I’m at my wits end at this point. If everything didn’t contain fentanyl I would have gone to the streets looking for help at this point. I’m at the point where I’m about to just give up. I can’t live like this anymore.

Skilled, Thorough and Caring
Dr. Kruger has done 2 surgeries for my wife. Three years ago he replaced 2 cervical disks and ;last week he did a lumbar fusion. The preop visits were very informative, the surgeries went well and the followup was excellent. He was very honest with us, made sure we had no unanswered questions and visited in the hospital after the fusion. (The disk replacement did not require a hospital stay.) He told us what to expect Both surgeries went very smoothly. We have very high confidence in Dr. Kruger and highly recommend him.

Dr Kruger is an amazing orthopedic doctor
This is my second neck surgery with Dr Kruger. I had two different injuries as a result from the type of work I do. Not only is his staff helpful and friendly but they were very supportive. Dr Kruger did an amazing job both times I needed neck surgery. I was in so much pain and discomfort, and after doing therapy and other options that were recommended, Dr Kruger suggested surgery. The man is good. I am pain free. Surgery went well I was treated like a queen. The staff was wonderful. Everything was explained to me and I felt very comfortable. In recovery Dr Kruger said to me how is your arm pain I realized I didn’t have any and today is almost 3 weeks from surgery and I am still pain free. I highly recommend Dr Kruger for any spine injury. He is absolutely wonderful and I thank him for giving me back my freedom to do the things I want to without pain.

Very poor overall. Nothing was ever done to help me and I was there for 4 visits. No pain medication was ever given even though I asked and told them I was suffering. Everything I told them, they were not compassionate, caring, or capable. They only book appointments to make more money. Don't go there. Reception is below standard.

I consulted with Dr Krugar over a year ago. He started with less invasive procedure to help my neck pain, PT and steroids/ anti inflammatory medication. Over the year it wasn’t as effective as hoped. I just had spinal fusion surgery. It went very well! He explained everything in depth. He and his staff are wonderful. It’s been years since I haven’t woken up with neck pain along with daily headaches. It’s been 8 days post op and I can’t thank him enough. I highly recommend Dr. Krugar.

I am writing this missive to express my complete disgust with my visit with Dr Kruger. The distain that he expressed towards me was such that I almost got up and left during his incurious interrogation of me... I spent approximately 20 minutes filling out the forms I was sent by Dr Kruger's office. Dr Kruger sat down and placed the forms I had filled out on a table and flipped through the pages spending at most five seconds each on the first two pages, then at most fifteen seconds on the remaining pages. He then proceeded to ask questions - most of which I had already answered on the pages that he showed basically zero interest in. He asked a question - I can't remember the specific question - and I answered it as best I could, and then he firmly and disrespectfully said: "that's not what I asked you!" Dr Kruger's advice for me as a result of this visit: "download a meditation app for your smartphone". My comments here have been greatly edited... I was charged $425 for this visit.

Dr. Kruger operated on me for the second time in August. I returned to him 14 years after my first surgery because of my complete satisfaction. It was a wise decision. He and his staff are extremely professional and were able to get the necessary permissions from my insurance to expedite my surgery. Based on my recovery it is very possible that further delay might have caused permanent damage. The follow up after the surgery was excellent with Dr. Kruger calling me personally. I sincerely hope that there won't be a need for a third back surgery but if there is then I know who to call.

Dr. Kruger knows what questions to ask in order, physical exam to give and tests to order in order to make a complete diagnosis. Although I initially went to see him for back issues, by his due diligence and xrays and back and neck Mri’s tests he ordered, he confirmed that certain symptoms I’m having are due to nerve compression in my neck. He is a very caring, experienced and thorough doctor.
