Superb physician.
Dr. Gemis is a superb surgeon and human being. He twice operated on my mother (bowel resection and breast lumpectomy) and on my older sister (breast lumpectomy). I accompanied both to appointments and was the contact person, so I am well aware of Dr. Gemis's treatment of his patients. Each time he treated on of my family members, he was thorough, professional, and more than competent. On top of his expertise, Dr. Gemis is a gentle, caring, warm person who is an expert listener.

I had the pleasure of meeting Dr. Gemis for the first time. He was very calming and reassuring. Took the time to answer all of my questions. And explained the procedure thoroughly. The girls in his office were very pleasant and courteous.

I liked him as a doctor but getting his staff to fax records or talk to my other doctors was hard. I think mary ellen is his assistant and she is very short on the phone.
