Dr. Goren. 'The Man, the Myth, the Legend'
Dr. Goren was the lead Dr. that saved my sons life. Easton had a epidural hematoma, scored a total score of a 3 on the Glasgow Scale. Dr. Goren was the lead Dr. Dr. Maffei and Dr. Goren had the perfect team that night as they had been prepped, ready to receive easton from life flight. From the time East had landed and was in the OR, they had performed tests to know exactly what the problem was, and urgently on the operating table within 16 minutes! I did not meet Dr. Goren until after the surgery. He was so gentle and kind in explaining Easton’s condition. He made me very aware of the dyer need he was in and explained exactly what they had to do in the surgery to help Easton recover. Easton is alive because of Dr. Goren. We’ve been made privy of how wonderful Geisinger hospital is. We now know it’s because of men and women like Dr. Goren! We will be forever grateful to him, for saving my buddies life! I would recommend this man to ANYONE!! He’s truly the best! He is family to us now!

Upon my first visit, he was not even there. I saw a PA. They told me he had an emergency surgery and I could wait. I traveled an hour to see him, they should have contacted me. I was to talk to him after my procedure, but that was brief, he had another emergency. The couple times I messaged him, it is days until he replies. I'm not comfortable with Dr Goren at all. I feel like he doesn't care about my health at all.

Dr. Goren is very professional and displays true compassion when providing care. He thoroughly explained everything in detail before, during, and after my surgery, answered any and all questions that I had, and eased my anxiety related to neurosurgery by giving me real statistics. I knew what to expect the enire way through. I would recommend him in an instant to anyone needing stent placement. I have no more pulsatile tinnitus, neck tension, migraines, brain fog, and I can sleep again. He helped give me get my life back and I feel like a human being again.

Dr Goren offered the newer and least invasive surgical option a venous stent. He has been our miracle delivery man and he did so quickly! I had suffered daily with spinal headaches. Other Doctor's had dead end treatments and risky surgery options. They didn't even completely diagnose me and could had by testing. Just prior to my stent placement. I could only stay awake for 3 hours at a time. I would fall over just turning. Was always ill and nautious and often would vomit. Under 40 years old and had ceased to exist. My children wanted their mother back. I was lucky to have a few good hours in a week. Since my stent has been placed. I can now stay awake all day long. I do not fall over just by turning my head or bending over. I can eat and keep food down. I have had ZERO spinal headaches and now I have good DAYS! Something I haven't had for years. Bless you and your family Dr. Goren, you have given back my family me and given me the will to live again. You've saved my life thank you!

I couldn't have asked for more in a doctor. Dr. Goren explained everything to me in a way that was completley understandable and in detail. He always takes his time at each meeting and doesn't rush. Without him and his team I would not be able to live a normal life again. I am forever thankful.

Dr. Goren was friendly, personable, patient, and kind. We've been dealing with neurosurgeons for over 18 years, and he was by far the most human we've encountered. He performed his job well, and I was grateful for his service
