Dr. Nicole Lopez-Seminario, MD

Great.

I had been waiting quite sometime for an appt. and the day of the appointment finally came... 4 months later.... On the day of the Appointment she was 25 minutes late for the video appointment... Seem hurried and impatient preoccupied and asked irrelevant questions... when I was about to ask her a few questions our connection was lost we had only been connected for a few minutes...and it took me 30 minutes to reconnect with her office.... and they said oh she got everything she needed your done... I said no! was not done! I was not finished. And they said oh follow up with her Nurse Practitioner in 3 months. I sent her several messages and to this day she never responded. I found her to be arrogant, haughty, and plain rude! I would not reccomend her to anyone! Beware of this Doctor Who is just way to busy and makes you feel like your wasting her time, did not help me. I don't normally write negaative reviews and give others the benefit of the doubt.. but this was shockingly bad.

I dislike writing negative reviews on anyone however, I feel this one has merit. First of all, this office does not respond to messages. I had a serious side effect to a medication that was prescribed to me and it took me countless messages and phone calls over a month to receive a response from a nurse not even the doctor. Second, Dr. Lopez-Seminario offers absolutely no advice or provides any options besides just prescribing new medication. It has only been through my own research that I have proposed tests and alternative options. I have spoken to other physicians who were shocked that basic tests were not done under her care. In addition, I was told by other doctors, that because I had waited so long to explore other options (surgery, etc) that this could negatively impact me in the long term.To be absolutely frank, she does not care. I strongly urge anyone that they look for an alternative neurologist as I believe her negligence can have a serious negative effect on a patient.

Dr. Lopez is a very knowledgeable doctor. She knows her stuff and for the most part is great at explaining. Communication is severely lacking though as 9/10 when I call it’s takes a minimum of 1 week for her to get back to me which is very frustrating.

Dr. Lopez-Seminario has been working with my husband who has epilepsy. She is through, insightful and has been a pleasure to work with for the last couple of years.

I have called their office 8 times in the last 2 days to get labs sent. No return call, no one knows anything. Have to leave a brand new message with a different person each time I call. If you want to be highly frustrated and receive zero communication- this is the doc for you. Will never recommend to anyone I know!

Dr. Lopez is awesome, she has helped me a great deal with my migraines and I'm so blessed to have found her, I'd recommend anyone in the Northern CA area to see her.
