Dr Zelhart is the best colon rectal surgeon in the world. He listens to you and your concerns. I had emergency surgery in March 2022. I had a colostomy. He reversed that in Oct 2022. I then had an ileostomy. In Nov. 2022, he did surgery and now no more bags to deal with. He is a very caring Doctor and he runs on time for appointments. He has an excellent staff. I might also add that I am an 87 year old woman. Make an appointment you will not be disappointed.

Dr. Zelhart did a great job with my colon resection surgery. The scarring is minimal and the recovery was easy. He's caring, kind, patient, knowledgeable and really, really good at his job! I highly recommend him and his office.

Dr Zelhart cured my abdominal cancer. He took his time and explained things thoroughly. My surgery went great and I didn't even have much pain.

youll be fighting with the billing office because of the method dr zelhart employs in scheduling his surgical follow up visits. my husband had a surgical procedure and was scheduled for his follow up visit 14 days later. if only dr zelhart had scheduled the follow up within 10 days, we could have saved over $100 in copay (in addition to the $200+ our insurance was charged). our eob actually lists another claim for surgery (2 weeks following surgery).

Dr Zelhart came recommended by my fathers Gastro Dr after he received a diagnosis of Colon Cancer. My family can not say enough good things about this Dr! Getting a diagnosis of Colon Cancer comes with a lot of questions and concerns- Dr Zelhart pulled extra chairs in his office so our family could sit down with him as he explained the colon surgery and exactly what he was going to do to remove the cancer- all our questions were answered. Now my father is Cancer free thanks to Dr Zelhart

Rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend at all. Talked down to me like I'm not capable of understanding anything. And then when I asked him how many patients he has operated on he starts fumbling around answers only to find out he just finished training.
