He didn’t show up to do my surgery.
This is the only Doctor that has told me he wasn’t that of a good surgeon and I responded you are joking right and he said no. He didn’t show up at the hospital that he was supposed to assist another surgeon that was wonderful and did all the surgery. The anesthesiologist said they didn’t know where he was. Unreal! Started my surgery late. I was going to cancel the surgery after he told this to me but my husband seemed to think he was joking, I didn’t.

Dr. Park’s bedside manner leaves much to be desired. As a postpartum patient suffering from rectal complications following delivery his lack of empathy/sympathy resonated throughout our encounter. Suggesting I speak to other mothers about how our bodies change during child birth to understand that my situation was normal & something I must learn to deal with before ever performing a physical assessment on me was insulting. Dr Parks may be a skillful surgeon, but how he made me feel that day when I was simply trying to take care of myself during the postpartum phase of my pregnancy makes him not the right doctor for me.

Dr. Parks is EXCELLENT! I had combination of large colon surgery and hernia repair. Released from Ochsner hospital on 4th day. Everything worked out really well and now at 6 weeks - everything is great and back to normal activities.
