Vaginal prolapse
My name is Gloria .H., I’m an 80 year old patient of Dr. Hoyte. I was diagnosed with uterovaginal prolapse, in layman’s terms my vagina and bladder dropped, and I was not able to hold my urine (incontinence). Dr. Hoyte is a Board Certified and is fully experienced and skillful in that type of surgery. The procedure that he performed in February 2025 repaired my issues, by lifting my vaginal canal and bladder back into the correct place using a robotic assisted device. Dr. Hoyte conducted his visit with me in a most highly professional manner. He was verypersonable and created a very relaxed environment during his consultation with me. Hisquestions were simple and straightforward. He carefully listened to my history and myquestions, and he encouraged me to ask questions which he answered in a verysatisfying manner. His staff were also very highly professional, courteous, and caring. My pre-operative and post-operative care were done in a very highly professional and caring manner

Answer to prayer
In addition to stellar medical credentials in urogynecology, Dr. Hoyte at The Pelvic Floor Institute is a rarity among physicians. So much so that I drive 90 minutes to see him. He actually takes the time to listen to your concerns with compassion. He asks empathetic questions that indicate his understanding of the impact on your quality of life. Regardless of the level of your embarrassment regarding your symptoms, Dr. Hoyte puts you at ease. After seeing several other physicians, he was able to successfully treat my symptoms which had taken over every aspect of my daily life. I cannot thank Dr. Hoyte and his staff enough and would highly recommend them.

Marietta T. McCarthy My name is Marietta (Marita) McCarthy. I am a 57 year old female and mother of 4 children. Please allow me to give a brief medical background before singing the praises of Dr. Lennox Hoyte, aka "The Miracle Worker," and his indescribable abilities to care for women and their female parts and issues. My story begins on July 4th of 2002, when it was determined that I had had complete pelvic organ prolapse, due to extensive internal deep vaginal tears during childbirth in 1993. My rectum and bladder had fallen through the vaginal wall with the vaginal vault atop of them. It was at this time that four different mesh products were placed: A bladder sling was used and attached to a ligament in my right groin. A vaginal vault suspension was used and attached to a ligament in my left groin. Rectal graphing to repair the anterior vaginal wall tears. And finally, pelvic floor graphing to build up the other weakened areas. All was well until 2008, when each of these mesh products began to fail. By the time I found Dr. Hoyte, I had already spent 4 years trying to find a physician/surgeon/specialist to take my case. I had practically seen every local surgeon and specialist in three counties near my home in South Florida, and had traveled up and down the east coast of the United States. I was seen at the University of Miami, the Cleveland Clinic twice, John's Hopkins (Maryland), five separate visits to the Pittsburgh Women's Magee Center (Pittsburgh, PA), some Beverley Hills place in Georgia, etc... NOT A SINGLE ONE WOULD TAKE MY CASE! Some would do minor procedures 'to help', but NOT ONE COULD REMEDY any of the issues. That was until "THE MIRACLE WORKER," Dr. Lennox Hoyte. A Heavenly Gift of a Man! The ONLY physician who fanned through 2 inches of my medical records and said, "You see this file? I read every page, I know exactly what's going on, and I know exactly how to fix you." At that time, I was in a cane and wheelchair. I could not sit upright or lift my legs. I had shuffled my feet for almost 4 years!! I was leaking urine and stool, and using birthing techniques to urinate and have bowel movements. The pain was unspeakable and indescribable. My first surgery with Dr. Hoyte in 2014 was only an hour and a half, and 8 weeks later I was PAIN FREE and walking without a cane or wheelchair!!! I was no longer leaking urine or stool, nor was I in pain urinating and having bowel movements. I was also no longer having chronic UTI's and Kidney infections every month. I had two more successful surgeries to remove failing mesh graphing in 2016 and 2019. Back in 2021, I began having issues again that put me in a cane. This time it was the bladder sling and vaginal vault suspension completely failing. There was no way to remove the bladder sling and vault suspension without putting more products inside of me, which Dr. Hoyte wouldn't do nor did I want...... UNTIL NOW!!!! DR. HOYTE IS AN ABSOLUTE GENIUS! I FINALLY HAVE ALL OF THESE PRODUCTS OUT OF ME!!!!! Dr. Hoyte created a way to HARVEST MY OWN BODILY TISSUE to strengthen my vaginal wall, correct the vaginal vault, remove the bladder sling and correct the prolapse and remove more painful mesh. I'm only 4 weeks out from surgery but already feeling a major difference! Hence his nickname, "MIRACLE WORKER!!!" Ladies, if you're having any issues in the pelvic area (anything involving female parts), there isn't a physician out there that will care for you like Dr. Hoyte. He is remarkable!!! I have traveled from West Palm Beach to Tampa, Florida 4 hrs ONE WAY countless times, because I KNOW that there is NO ONE that is more capable to care for me than Dr. Hoyte. I have referred many of my friends and family to him, and we all have the same thoughts, "He is A MIRACLE WORKER." It's a relief to say, "I TRUST MY DOCTOR." Blessings, Marietta P.S. Wait until you meet his staff!!! Some of the most incredible lives you will ever meet! I never felt like I was in an office. I felt as though I had come home. Professional, Available, Loving, Caring, Kind, Generous with their time.... I can go on forever! I pray your experience is as wonderful as mine!

Pelvic Organ Prolapse
The referral to Dr Lennox Hoyte that I received from my endocrinologist was a godsend. He diagnosed my condition immediately and actually sat down in a chair next to me and informed me of the corrective action that was required. His explanations and descriptions of the required procedures were very clear and easily understood. Answered every question thoroughly and patiently and took the time to do so without me feeling rushed that he had to get to the next patient. Before and after the surgery his “bedside manner” was second to none. I felt extremely comfortable that he accomplished everything he wanted to do to correct my problems. It was well worth the travel time from Brooksville to Bartow, FL (2 hrs each way). Anyone searching for a urogynecologist would not find anyone better that Dr Hoyte.

Pelvic Floor dysfunction and bladder leakage
Recommended by a friend. Dr Hoyte is AMAZING! I tell my friends he is the Pelvic Floor Whisperer. He surgically corrected my pelvic floor dysfunction and bladder leakage. I can now wear blue jeans without pain. He is amazing, after examining me and giving me my options. He performed robotic surgery to correct and erase many many years of suffering. I am now recommending him to everyone and anyone who will listen to me. Don't put it off. Go and see him. You will be amazed by his knowledge and beside manner. He knows his subject and knows it well. If you are searching for the right doctor, search no more. Give his wonderful staff a call today and get your life back.

Unprofessional
Do not go to Dr Hoyte, the Pelvic Floor Institute in Florida under any circumstances. They are unbearably unprofessional, and discussed extremely private intimate details of a client’s health issues (including discussing her colon and anus issues) inside the front door and when asked if they shouldn’t take this into a private room the receptionist told me to GTFO of their office right that moment. Dr Hoyte was standing right there and did nothing about it. Disgusting and disturbing to say the least.

Ocala FL – Nov. 2022 Finding Dr. Hoyte was truly a god-send for my wife. My wife was diagnosed with a prolapsed bladder and told she should have surgery once it became too uncomfortable. In the meantime, worrisome vaginal bleeding started to occur which gave rise to 2 rush weekend trips to different nearby hospital Emergency Rooms. In both cases she was told the bleeding was caused by a urinary tract infection and prescribed with an antibiotic. The second one also ordered a scan which we were told further indicated some kind of shadow on her bladder and recommended we see our GP for additional testing and ultrasound. The GP took a culture which showed there was in fact no urinary tract infection and no further need for antibiotics, but the ultrasound reported finding a lesion (i.e. growth) on the wall of her bladder with recommendation that we see a Urologist. Upon searching the internet we learned a growth on the bladder is typically over 95% cancerous, spreads rapidly, but ca

BEST Dr ever!!!
Dr Hoyte is by far the best practitioner I have dealt with in my life. I suffered stage 3 prolapse at a very young age (35) following the birth of my second child and I refused the standard of care of "sacrohysteropexy" or "wearing pessaries" for the rest of my life. My husband and I wanted more children and we looked at prolapse as a mechanical issue that can be fixed, especially in my case since I was a healthy candidate. Of note, I am myself a medical practitioner and I was aware of conventional treatments. However, I didn't want to settle and wanted to research if any other options were available for patients like me. In conventional medicine, prolapses were always the "diseases of the old age". But I didn't fit in. I was in my thirties, not menopausal and really there were not many interested in operating on me without removing my reproductive organs (which I was AGAINST). There were really no options for treating prolapses in younger female patients wishing to bear children. I sp

Pelvic Floor Repair
I am 12 weeks post op and am delighted to report a very successful procedure done by Dr Hoyte. I found this outstanding practice after research and referral. From my first visit, I felt welcomed and comfortable. The staff is professional and proficient. The pretesting is extensive and assures the best of outcomes. The staff was gentle in their procedural testing and explained each step along the way. My surgery was preformed at Tampa General. The hospital was top notch. Choosing Dr Hoyte was absolutely the right doctor for me. I have friends who are having results less than favorable done by other surgeons. Being a nurse myself, I wanted it done properly the first time. His engineering background adds to his expertise on many levels. This kind, caring man has given me back a life of active participation in all that is important to me. Postoperative recovery required little pain medication. I have no limitations and am now free of urinary and rectal leakage. The pressure is gone.

Office staff
Love Dr. Hoyt. But the office help are very difficult. I will not go back to this office again as long as Mimi, one of the clerical workers is there. She called the police on me for trespassing when I had an appointment with the Dr. She had charged erroneously for cancelation fees when I gave adequate notice due to an illness. I had to pay the charges before I could make the next appointment. At my next appointment I tried to discuss the charges with her. She refused. She then demanded that I leave or she would call the police. When the police arrived and asked if she wanted to charge me with trespassing. She said yes if I didn't leave immediately. Who does this in a Drs office? Dr. Hoyt needs to be more on top of what happens in his front office. Needless to say I had a very bad experience!!

Pelvic prolapse
After 4 years of suffering symptoms that significantly limited my ability to live independently, I visited over 20 doctors in a variety of fields and remained undiagnosed. Nobody could explain my cluster of symptoms–episodes of painful bowel movements, upper back & neck muscle cramping and spikes in blood pressure that would literally floor me. I even sought help from holistic doctors, acupuncturists, ciropractors, and made diet changes. My search came to an end with a visit to Dr Lennox Hoyte. After careful and detailed testing, Dr Hoyte told me I have problem passing stool due to pelvic prolapse and possible scars and recommended surgery. The operation was a success. It felt like magic. Dr Hoyte has all of the qualities of a great doctor: knowledge, experience, respect, honesty, provides you with options and respects your decision. He is an outstanding surgeon, a wonderful person that exceeded all my expectations. He gave me back a normal life and for that I am forever grateful.

Best doctor I’ve ever had.
I had suffered for many years with a prolapse bladder. I’ve had a prolapse bladder operation which was ineffective. I have gone for pelvic floor therapy. My last therapist was excellent but couldn’t seem to fix my problem. She had mentioned Dr Hoyt . My gynecologist who is wonderful tried to help me but finally referred me to Doctor Hoyt. He is unbelievable. It wasn’t my bladder causing me all the discomfort I was having. I could not sit at night to watch t.v. I lied on the couch. I couldn’t even wear underwear. I was really in bad shape until finally I went to Doctor Hoyt. This is definitely where you go to get the rest of the story. My vagina was prolapsed because my bladder was pressing on it. After going to Dr Hoyt I can now live normally. I can actually sit at night and watch t.v. I can wear pants and am living a normal life. I hope this review will help other patient to get the help you need. I am 71 years old and I feel better now then I did 20 years ago.

My wife was a patient of Dr. Hoyte for over 4 years. During that time, the medical staff did amazing things and helped my wife get past issues she was having for years. Now, if this review was just on the medical aspect of the practice, it would be 5 stars. The problem is that when working with doctors you also have to work with the office staff. Recently my wife called to get a prescription refilled. Within three months, the cost of the prescription more than doubled. Of course my wife calmly started asking questions, Why the sudden increase? Is this increase temporary or permanent? She was met with snarky and sarcastic responses to her questions. Dr. Hoyte himself has told us many times how he values his patients and sees them as customers with options to go elsewhere for care. Because of this out of the ordinary experience, we sent a message through the patient portal describing our experience. Soon after that we got an email from Dr. Hoyte but coming from an office staff

I was referred to Dr Hoyte by my Gyn physician in Sarasota, who recommended robotic surgery. After having had two previous surgeries I was very skeptical about having another. I’m now two months post -op and could not be more thrilled with the outcome. My recovery was so easy with minimal pain. I feel like I got my life back ! I’m already back to my full exercise routine and so happy I found Dr Hoyte and his staff who are very professional, through, and caring of their patients. I absolutely recommend Dr Hoyte. He is an amazing surgeon. Wish I had found him earlier ! Definitely worth the 1 1/2 hour drive for me.

I originally had bladder prolapse done by another surgeon in Orlando, Fl. Surgery went wrong and the head of that practice tried to correct the original surgeons mistake and made a BIGGER mess of things. My entire pelvic floor had collapsed. I was in bad shape. I went to several different URO surgeons to get the previous two surgeons mistakes corrected. Every surgeon I saw said they would try to help me but they could NOT fix me. A friends gynecologist heard my story and HIGHLY recommended Dr. Lennox Hoyte. I made an appointment with DR. Hoyte thinking I was probably going to hear the same things that I've heard over and over with previous surgeons. Surprisingly, that was not the case with Dr. Hoyte! He said "Don't worry, I CAN fix you. And he did!!! He corrected my entire pelvic floor. I am so thankful for Dr Hoyte. He literately gave me my life back. If I ever have and future pelvic floor problems, I will only see Dr. Hoyte!! I can never thank him enough for what he has done for me
