I had a knee replacement and could not have been happier with Dr Kopko. His professionalism, and bed side manner was amazing as well as all the staff that was involved in my care. From start to finish, my experience with SOS and Dr. Kopko's team was exceptional. The combined care from SOS physical therapy and the surgical staff made the recovery process easier, and once again, communication played a crucial role in keeping me on track.I was walking the day of surgery and 4 months post-surgery, I’m fully back into my exercise routine and everyday life. Dr Kopko did an excellent job with my hip replacement. Everything was done right and I am feeling great. Recovery has been very good.

Dr. Kopko explained in great detail why I needed the above mentioned procedure. He ordered the appropriate tests to come to this conclusion as I was initially scheduled for a total knee replacement. So, after I recover from my virtually PAINLESS hip replacement, I will definitely see Dr. Kopko again to surgically replace my left knee!

Dr Kopko explained all my options and left final decision to me. I proceeded with surgery and am glad I did. He explained everything and answered all my questions. He gave me all the time I needed.

I have had a knee replacement, and a recent hip replacement with Dr Kopko. Not afraid to admit I am a huge baby, and was scared to death, but when I sat down with him for both procedures, he was very informative, caring and supportive, and actually stayed in his chair, waiting for me to ask more questions! I have only been treated like that before with another SOS doctor, in the course of many other surgeries. Thats why I went right back to him for my hip replacement. And again he has exceeded my expectations and Im doing really well. If you dont pick him the first time, at least give him a shot at a second opinion. And your mind will be changed immediately! Great follow up, great care, great support, leading to a great result!

Dr. Kopko has treated me professionally and with a caring attitude. I had recurring pain in my thigh area in leg with hip replacement. He was concerned and had me try ideas and meet with him 3 times since my actual hip replacement...the best news--i am doing great..no pain and looks like a full recovery. After years of agony, pain and struggling with mobility with my right hip, I decided to visit Dr Kopko, He was honest forthcoming, knowledgeable and explained the plan of action. In the past 18 months, Dr Kopko has completed total knee replacement on both my knees. My only regret is that I waited so long to have them done. Dr. Kopko took the time to explain all options and what to expect before and after surgery and during recovery. Pain has been minimal and easily controlled.
