Choose someone else!
This doctor is completely incompetent!! If I could give him zero stars, that is what he would get!! He has no bed side manner, doesn't listen to the patient, demeans the patient and puts his failures off on the patient. Please look for a better doctor and choose someone that will listen to you and work on a plan together. I am telling you this because of my negative and time-wasting experience that as a result has set my health backwards in a short period of time. Please make sure you you read every review. I feel fortunate that I found a very good new doctor due to my research

The reason I am still here.
Dr. Joel saw something on my lung x-ray and pursued it further because it didn't look right. Turns out it was cancer and he caught it very early so minimal surgery was needed. He is the best and a great guy.

Best at listening and diagnosing
Dr Orevillo paid close attention to what I had to say regarding my breathing issues and asked appropriate questions to narrow down the cause. He listened to me!

Pulmonologist
Dr. Joel Orevillo is Very knowledgeable Doctor, Professional, Compassionate, respectable and friendly, his nurse is good. I would highly recommend Dr. Orevillo as a Pulmonologist.

I was being treated for a lung infection(MAI). I received the yearly CT of chest as follow-up. He read the report and asked a few questions and then suggested I have an echo. I never had any heart problems and didn't to my knowledge. Echo performed; had leaky mitral valve. I was in congestive heart failure. Open heart surgery was performed; valve replaced, maze method used on atrial fib.,and aneurysm removed. I'm fine all because Dr. Orevillo went an extra step. Glad he requested Echo.
