I recommend staying away from this doctor and his new corporate employer, Intermountain Healthcare. I established myself as a patient back in 2019 and was examined, but when I called to make an appointment in 2021, I was informed that since I hadn't seen the doctor in over a year, I would have to start over as a new patient. Furthermore, I was told he wasn't accepting new patients, even though his own website says otherwise. No consideration given to Coronavirus and my reluctance to make any routine appointments until I was fully vaccinated. Very unethical!! Leads me to believe he is uninterested in relatively healthy patients who don't represent lots of billable hours.

Very dissastified former patient – May 27, 2021

It is unbelievable that he still a licensed doctor. I’m confident that I would not be alive, if I had not gone to the ER after he told me that there was nothing wrong with me which turned out to be stage IV lymphoma. Several visits with high fever and excessive weight loss- told me to keep taking over the counter pain relievers. This all occurred 15 years ago, but I’m still annoyed when I randomly did a search on the internet and saw his face. He is the worst doctor, I have ever encountered.

Dr Gonzalez is a caring and competent Dr. He takes the time to understand my concerns, and personalizes his care to meet my needs. I feel confident in the care he provides. Wait times can vary at this practice. Plan accordingly. Dr. Gonzalez is worth the wait.

Unequivocally the most disinterested, uncaring doctor in Las Vegas. Refuses to reply to any question submitted to his office, under the guise of being too busy. He should get out of the profession as soon as possible because he does not qualify to even be considered a Medical Doctor. Healthcare Partners should be ashamed to be affiliated with this unprofessional jerk. Stay away from this quack.

Wait times are unacceptable. Plan to be there for at least 2 hrs for even something routine. I have been going to that same office (different physicians) for over 15 years, and it is always a wait time , first at the waiting room, and then in the examination room. On top of everything, Dr. Gonzalez is always in a hurry. I will no longer visit that office.

He is terrible & does not care at all! I have seen him a few times & he becomes more & more rude, sloppy, & tells me "he is only an employee" of HealthCare Partners which immediately conveyed his disinterest & passivity. The second time I saw him it was the Monday after Super Bowl Sunday for a 7:45 am appointment. After he kept me waiting for over 2 hours, I said he must have had a wild Super bowl because I have been in this closed room for over 130 minutes! He rudely replied "I don't like or watch football." I was furious because he did not even apologize for being 2.5 hours late! Now when I bring in medical notes he won't even touch them, & lies about authorizations. I am getting copies of my medical records & never going back to see him. He obviously won't care, or notice - therefore, I am leaving this accurate review & contacting my insurance company to explain my disappointment, frustrations, & reason for firing him.

Long wait time with patient on oxygen, unconcerned office staff. Unconcerned physician. It was clear on this post hospital visit the hospital record had not been reviewed and as a result we were told to just leave and go back to the ER as our family member was too complicated!! Provider left us in the room with nor further interaction to get our family member out of the room. Have never seen this degree of lack of empathy, concern, willingness to coordinate care.

Unbelievable and unacceptable wait times! Somewhat disorganized front office staff. Scheduled an appt for bloodwork, waited what seemed like an eternity only to be told that the person who draws blood has gone home for the day! Ended up going to quest diag. and was seen in and out in15 minutes. Next appointment to Dr. Gonzalez I Arrived 15 minutes early to fill out the same paperwork as the last time and it has been 1h42m past my appt. Other patients are yelling in the hallways also very upset!

The wait times are unacceptable. On average, a visit can last 2 hours - 90 minutes of that is waiting. Also, I do not like the fact that he is very difficult to get in contact with. You can't email or call him directly. The email goes to a general mailbox & always gets lost. When you call the office, you're transferred to an assistant or his voicemail. He never calls you back. It's always the assistant who calls & always wants you to come in to talk to him. I'm not waiting 2 hours just to talk.

The last time I went to see him, the wait time was 1 hour and 30 minutes. This included wait time in the waiting room and in the exam room. I heard him and his assigned "nurse" chatting for about 25 minutes outside my exam room. At the 1.5 hour mark, I walked out of the room and spoke with them, as I needed to get back to work. There was no compassion or sense of urgency by him or his assistant. I left without rescheduling my appointment. I will likely cancel all other appointments.

I am not a happy new patient at all. I made an appt with Dr Gonzales for over a month and a half and finally the day had came and I showed up 15 mins early to fill out paper work (my appt was 10am). Long story short, I waited for an hour and a half and was still not seen by the doctor. I was referred to him and didn't even get to see him! I was so mad I walked out at 11:30am. The young girl who worked at the desk didn't do anything to help me she didn't even try to go get the doctor or nurse.

Not only did I have to wait over a week for an appointment but when I finally got in to see him I was there for two hours and literally spent about five minutes with the doctor. He took my blood pressure and then referred me to Quest Diagnostics for blood work. That was over two weeks ago and I have not heard back from anyone with the office despite follow up calls and voicemail requesting a call back.
