Incompetent staff
During my visit with Dr. Decarlo, I found her to be pleasant and knowledgeable. However, her staff was unresponsive, unfriendly, and unreliable. Dr. Decarlo had promised that her scheduler would reach out to me at the beginning of October to schedule surgery, but after weeks of no contact, I had to call multiple times and leave voicemails. After two months of no response, I called the main office to schedule with another provider. I was informed that they needed to request the release of care before scheduling an appointment. The person on the other end spoke to me in a condescending tone. However, less than an hour later, I received a call from the scheduler with a date, and soon after, another call from the main office advising me to call the scheduler to make an appointment. This entire experience has been a clear sign of incompetence, and as a result, I will not be returning to this practice!

Very disappointing. My son has special needs and he sees many many doctors, Dr Di Carlo was by far the most disappointing experience for us. She did not pay attention, did a type of surgery that should have never been done to a child in my son's condition, did not come and talk to me after the surgery, and the results of her surgery were ZERO. She put my son through surgery without any consideration or care. My advice is: avoid her at any cost.

Avoid if you can. Not so much the doctor, as it is her staff. They do not return calls, or answer any messages sent in their portal. Nothing against Dr. Di Carlo, but the rest of the team lacks big time. Reading the other reviews, I experienced the same exact problems. Getting a return call is basically out of the question. If you like being transferred to other numbers, and leave messages that do not get a response, continue with Dr. Di Carlo. Awful experience.

If I could give 0 stars I would!!! Worst doctor ever my son had a circumcision 2 days ago the night of he started gushing blood through his diaper I called they said they could not see him to take him to nearest emergency room emergency room said for me to follow up with dr that did surgery I called and told dr di Carlos staff and they said they could not get him in. I have asked 5 times for her to call me and she has yet to call. It is Thursday he had his surgery on Tuesday. Please read these reviews and make the right decision on a doctor. It is not Dr Di Carlo but I will say if you are looking for someone give Dr Kern a call. We have not met him yet but the er called him told him our situation and how dr di Carlo and her staff would not see him for a follow up after losing a lot of blood. He said he will see my son today for a follow up even though my son did not have procedure done with him. He seams like a Dr that really cares!! Unlike Dr Di Carlo and her staff.

Other review was spot on. The doctor clearly told me and my husband what she thought we wanted to hear to get us out of her office. Then after that nothing happened as she said it would. Dr. Di Carlo said her staff would call me asap and get a procedure scheduled and that she would make it a priority to fit it in asap. It took her office more than 2 weeks to call me (despite me calling and leaving several messages with her staff). Then the person that called me sounded completely incompetent and would not give me a date for the procedure but couldn't do it any of the dates that I proposed. I asked for the doctor to call me directly because her staff clearly was not doing anything she told us would happen - she never called. We requested our records (which we will most likely never receive) and are going elsewhere. Complete waste of time and very fitting as it is similar to all of the experiences we have had with any Hopkins facility.

The worst and least caring dr I’ve ever met, and I have four kids and have been to a lot of doctors!!! She doesn’t return phone calls, and the office staff literally said she had more important cases than my son so she would call when she could. Took 4 weeks of calling to get a return call. Needless to say, we switched doctors. Do NOT waste your time.
