Very nice, but appt felt a bit rushed
I wish she had given me a heads-up about the new medication she prescribed. It is very expensive even after insurance ($250 for 30 days). She also didn't really give me time to ask any questions after so I didn't get a chance to ask about some other stuff I had in mind.

Dr Smerker was wonderful
Least unpleasant pap smear ever. She was kind, informative, and listened to me and my concerns. Definitely will request her for next year.

She was very sweet and polite. She was a bit robotic in her communication style as if going "by the book", clinical and regimented, which lacked a bit the human connection element. She was extremely gentle which I appreciated with more sensitive physical parts of exam.

Did not listen to me at all. Told me incorrect information. Told me I needed another ultrasound from them for an issue that has been ongoing for 14 years and I provided an ultrasound from 6 months ago.

Excellent doctor
Dr Smerker performed my difficult hysterectomy (I had endometriosis). She is very thorough and did extensive testing prior to surgery. She is very quick to respond to all questions or concerns post surgery. Prior to surgery, she made me aware of all the risks and described the surgery in detail. I highly recommend her to anyone, and we are lucky to have her in the Akron area.
