Dr. Gouher Wali, MD

I saw Dr. Wali as my treating doctor during a workers comp injury situation. She was very good, and the physical therapy clinic was excellent. Actually quite remarkable, considering it was a state-run facility. When my case was adjudicated, she referred me to Dr. Elias Benhamou to continue treatment for my chronic pain condition. Sadly, Dr. Benhamou died in 2018..he was a five star anesthesiologist and a great pain management physician. Dr. Wali blessed me tremendously with this referral..I saw Elias for years.Dr. Wali was very easy to get along with and treated me like gold.She kept my pain level very low and stable. I looked forward to our visits.The opiate panic that began circa 2015 drove many fine pain docs away from practicing in that arena.Dr. Wali was one such doctor. I'd go back to her in a New York minute if she was still a pain doc.I'm stuck with a really incompetent doctor who doesn't prescribe correctly. Much love, Dr. Wali.

Dangerous doctor who does not listen to any of your concerns. Prescribes random drugs and then abruptly switches them. She won't call in prescriptions and forces you to pay for a visit. Her bedside manner is awful and rude. Many comments are unwarranted and inappropriate in regards to your visit. Onece I was leaving she yelled out where people in the lobby could hear YOU HAVE A LOT OF ACNE YOU MIGHT WANT TO GET CHECKED. I am amazed she is even still practicing. Filthy office. 2 hr wait times.
