Dr. Baxter took her time to explain my procedure both before and after the surgery. She is always respectful when answering my questions and concerns. I appreciate her enthusiasm during office visits and prior to surgery.

Beware Dr Baxter never has time for her patients!!
If you want a dr who never has time when issues come up with your ears call Dr Baxter! It’s happened twice with my son! The first time was when an er Dr at St Luke’s punctured his ear drum. I called Dr Baxters office and got the run around and was told to go to his family Dr! Considering that she is his ear Dr and I wanted him seen by his ear Dr didn’t matter! When we did finally get appt which was already scheduled months later I told her what happened and she really didn’t care! Now we are at today- 2wks ago my son was complaining that his ear hurt. Took him to the dr and his tube is displaced. The dr tried a couple different ways to get the tube out and couldn’t she told me to call Dr Baxter’s office to get appt. I knew exactly what was going to happen- of course I got the run around again! The lady on the phone said he has appt June 18 and that he needed a hearing test 1st. All I wanted was an appt to get the tube out and apparently that didn’t fit in dr Baxters schedule!

Dr Baxter was nothing short of wonderful. After seeing countless other doctors and endless testing, Dr Baxter diagnosed my problem right away and put together a plan to treat it. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an ENT in the Toledo area.

Highly recommend!
Dr. Baxter was very thorough in walking me through my CT scan to actually show me what was going on. My PCP didn’t even tell me what my scan said and referred me to Dr. Baxter, which left me afraid of what was on it. She straightened my nose and helped me breathe through my nose again. She is a fantastic surgeon, as my recovery was without complication and my nose looked great after my surgery. I felt cared-for and listened-to when speaking with her, and she would even reach out to me personally when I had an issue or question. I cannot recommend this doctor enough for ENT concerns.

*If you are looking for a review on her knowledge and expertise as a doctor, this is not the right review for you... I didn't make it that far. I was absolutely disgusted with how my appointment with Dr. Baxter went after being highly recommended by my PCP. I ended up in tears right in front of her out of frustration for not being listened to, being told to stop talking, implying I wasn't being truthful, gaslighting, shaming, I could go on. The most unprofessional moment was not warning me the spray she put in my nose would numb my throat and cause swallowing issues (I was there for a deviated septum and dysphasia - trouble swallowing), to then walk out the door and leave me terrified for a few moments as I suddenly felt my throat becoming numb and had trouble swallowing. I am a highly educated, professional woman (with medical background), her condescension was humiliating. Needless to say, I would never allow this woman near my face with a scalpel.

During my pre-op visit, she reviewed each of my prescribed meds one-by-one and told me not to take one of them the day before surgery, and I followed her instructions precisely. The day of surgery she canceled while I was being prepped because I wasn't supposed to take one of my other meds that she never told me not to take! She didn't even come talk to me before sending me home from the hospital even though that time was already scheduled for me. But that wasn't a deal-breaker and I wanted to reschedule my surgery with her ASAP, but neither she nor her office followed up with me until I left several messages over 2 days. When she did finally respond, she was rude, insensitive, indifferent, and blamed me saying I should have known not to take the other med, and she refused to reschedule me. I was shocked by her lack of follow-up after abruptly canceling my surgery, her subsequent lame excuses, condescending tone, and ultimate abandonment.

She is by far one of the best doctors I've ever gone to. She spends time with me, explaining everything to me. She answers questions and concerns very concisely. The surgery I had with her went really well, and will need two more with her as well. I know I will be in good hands.

Dr. Baxter came highly recommended and was very excited to get an appointment. I have never met with a human being which was more rude and arrogant. Needless to say I found another doctor who actually cared about their patient.

Was having migraines and constant sinus infections, she saw me once, scheduled surgery without explaining what she was doing. Day of surgery, as my IV full of Versed had already kicked in, she rushes into pre-op to have me sign a medical release which again, never got explained. During surgery she came out and barked at family members in the waiting room because she couldn't control my BP. She was rough during the follow up and yelled at me for grunting loudly as she yanked, pulled and twisted.

Was not impressed. Dr. Baxter was arrogant. Did not ask questions or listen. She ordered several tests, expensive tests and therapy. Upon leaving staff did not do anything to schedule the tests nor did they follow up for the ordered tests.

She is the first Dr to diagnose my vocal cord problem which cause me coughing spasms among other things. She sent me to a speech specialist, modify my meds and keeps tracks of my progress. Since seeing her my 2 conditions have improved and under controlled.
